How do you reply to WHAT'S UP in English? And what does WHAT'S UP really mean? I answer both of these questions in this short and easy-to-understand video for English learners.

"What's been good?" This is another casual and informal way of asking someone about their recent experiences or what's been happening in their life.

Well, as I understand it, we have two options for cases when someone asks the question “what's up?”. firstly when we meet someone and it is like “hello” and in such situations the most simpliest answer is “Not much” and the second situation is when someone asks what happened and in such cases you simply explain what happened XD correct me if I'm wrong 🙃

What's up can be an informal greeting like "Hi", and "Hey," or it can be a real question like "What's happening? It depends on the situation. What's up? What's up ? Hey, Mike. What's up? How are you doing? How is it going?) Not much. And you? You look worried. What's up, Mike? ( What's happening) I have a problem. Maybe you can help me. Thanks a lot for this nice video, Mike.

"Hey" is a little bit more informal.

Sir I have a question regarding 'must' .. I saw a sentence in the subtitle " I always thought that he must also feel the same way about me but I was wrong", according to the grammer, is it a valid use of 'must' in the past ?

Now I knew from this video there are two ways we can use "what's up ".Frist for greeting someone( informal) and second for asking someone questions. A :Hi friend.What's up. B-Not much. A -You look upset .What's up? B- I lost my purse. Thanks, Teacher for the lesson.

I'm from the US. The only other language that I can speak well is Thai, but I know a tiny bit of Japanese and Spanish.

@@TeacherMikeEnglish I'm from Kazakhstan, able to speak only both- Russian, and I have been study English. Kazakh language I dislike, meanwhile it's studied in our schools. In Russian the word "language" translate as "язык"

When someone is speaking to an audience, the audience is usually not expected to answer.
