Good morning Sis. I was going to suggest the same as Ami. Maybe punch the other direction. Also perhaps tape prior to punching? I had another idea Ala Hazel. A masterboard with the smaller bits as the focal point! Maybe cover an entire sheet and use it to create a new wider spine?

Such a great idea on the whale tales! Im going to debook LGBs to harvest some spines! I had thought about tearing the gold from the cardbook and using them as page borders or tearing them to create flower centers or junky clusters/snippets! Now onto hunting for a tab punch ❤❤❤

I love this idea! I have some spines saved up that I can use. I would suggest punching the whale tale in the other direction so that it won’t stick up at the fold. The spines will already be going the right way. No need for tape! 😃

Very creative idea. I have a box of them but I’ve only used them in collage. I learned from Possum Patty that they come off more intact if you heat them with a heat gun but maybe that’s why yours look pretty good! ❤

Great use of your spines. They are super cute. Have you tried ironing the spines? I can’t wait to get back in my craft room. I think it’s going on 14 days. YIKES

I did not iron them but what a great idea! I was also thinking of just laying down one spine and punching that- letting the black show on either side.

I've seen people make bookmarks for the LGB journal they were making. I have added it to the edge of a page in LGB journals that I've made. I like the whale tale / tab idea a lot. ❤ Do you use the heat gun to remove your LGB spines? I have more luck doing that.

Hi! Yes and no - I don't have a heating tool I just use an old blow dryer and it does work most of the time. Adding them to a page edge is a fabulous idea! You may just see that in somewhere in these journals! Have a fabulous weekend❤️

if you heat up the spine with your heat gun the foil comes off so neatly and in one whole piece! Then you can iron it onto paper because the glue is heat activated. And if ironing it on doesn't work I would use double stick tape. Matching types of glues works better rather than mixing glues that have different bases. Just my thoughts ❤
