Many Thanks. I have a Sumvision Oracle 4 channel AHD recorder and it started asking for the password. I tried everything including removing CR3020 battery from inside to factory reset it. Nothing worked. Until i tried the password generator as he mentioned. yipeee.......................... Now working perfect. Thankyou

I had a dvr with hi3515. I unplugged it and opened the box and removed the round battary. After a few minutes i plugged it again. The date became 2000.01.01. I found a program called codecalculator_2. I typed 20000101 and it generated the password "NpSZOo". I tried this password and it worked.

Omg it worked super password v2 I've been trying 2 get into a locked dvr for the last 2 weeks I even called the company which said it is a commercial dvr not to be sold to the public so we can't give you master reset password I bought it as my backup off ebay they had it listed as new 4yrs ago well dummy me didn't test it I left it in box until I needed it as my backup dvr cuz my main dvr went out Thank you so much

This worked in our unbranded h.264 DVR. I used the 2nd password generator. After entering the super password generated, it prompted another message window that says "Login with super password, restore password by default". Clicked Ok. Then it restarts. Then use the default password of the DVR to login. In my case, there is no password or blank only. Thanks!

I have an OWSOO dvr. I haven't been able to get past the password part in a bit over 2yrs. I for the life of me can not remember what I changed the password to. Ive searched and searched and barely find a good manual for it let alone any form of support. How for the love of God do I just reset it and start over. I'm not tech savy enough or something because what you've done hasn't worked for me. Any suggestions before I go buy another dvr? If that's the case I'm out a few hundred for something that wasn't even online more than 3month.

Would this work for any DVR/NVR? Mine is a UK make called SWANN 1080 box with no other ID. So Swann cannot help me

Thank you...4 your video...i have been living in a home 4 the last two yrs. With hard wire working cameras. But, the last owner had a password on it. And i haven't been unable 2 unlock it. It was working so i didn't want 2 replace it.. i opened out the panel and the first time..i saw the battery but it didnt come out. I saw your video 2 briefly make no contact with battery. And it worked...i'm happy now. Cause i reloaded & put my personal infornation. So now, i'm now the administrator. My question is., howcan i find the appp 4 my phone...thanks u were very helpful...very successful.

I have a dvr with hi3515. Admin password was just blank. I was leaving the password empty and could open the menu just clicking enter without typing anything. But after 2 weeks it asked for password. Nothing worked for it.

It says that the default password was 0000 I put it in and nothing. Then I kept trying and it locked up on me

I just unplugged the thing and let it sit for a few and tried again. This time keeping it blank and it worked and let me have access to the system.

My dvr non brand h254 system date 09 1 217 was working fine then on 26 6 22 wanted pw but wont accept and locks out. No reset and Tried removing battery for days still wont go back to original date and i cant change it from june date. Hi. Could you please help me understand one thing? I have a Floureon (registered brand it says top corner of the name) the chip is Hisilicon Hi3515 which on your table shows that is from 2010. After emoving the battery the date turned to 1970/01/01... Should I put that date (well I did but it doesn't work)? I tried most of your instructions with no luck. Thank you.

I’m getting ready to try his fixes on mine, your comment abut 2010 date just shows that system has been reverted to factory settings and as far as I’m aware you will put the correct date in after you are able to access the main menu and enter new details in your system

I never heard about this DVR. Please understand that are thousands of DVR about the and there's no way I could have all of them. Please follow the logic present in this video and try on yours.

I bought Loftek H 264 one but is made in China. I tried all the methods, didn't work. It has the Yellow battery and I used a tweezer to touch top and bottom when it's off and it didn't work either. Should the device be running when that is done, I hope it doesn't, sounds scary lol. Please advise. This product is off their shelves so I am not getting any support.
