tyty, not letting go of the volume button and just hitting the power button for the second time worked for me. most vids make it seem like you have to let go of both buttons

This method DOES WORK, folks just GOTTA MAKE SURE they turn the buttons on EXACTLY AS HE DOES, bc I had a friend say it DIDN'T HELP🤷 ...THEN, when I took his phone and did it again using this SAME video, it WORKED perfectly... So TRY again!?!?🤦😕😐

After resetting during the set up the phone is still asking for owners email I’d and passsword . If I had known that I would have entered it in the first place and not done the reset . I have forgotten jt. Is there a way around to set the phone up with a new g mail account ?

Hey hi, my K7 error msg is "authentication fail #9 lg k7 [MODIFIED]" and i actually tried the hard reset just as you did, but it went back off just as the green android image appeared to start erasing all the data..would it be that my battery is very low?

Well whip my shit & call me FLUFFY,it worked,,, Dude you simply put? Are AWESOME,,,I had tried a kazillion times from other sources & not 1 did it,but the one thing I did wrong,& it's never explained in total detail,,what I WAS doing was letting go of BOTH the power key & volume key when the LG logo came on & no one mentioned keeping the volume key down & just let go of the power key,WHILE still holding the volume key,, I was letting go of both & re pushing both at same time,but I noticed you kept your finger on the volume button & only let go & re pushed the power button,THAT makes ALL the difference,, Thank you so much

HELP, please! :) I'm having a problem with my lg k7 :/ It seems that phone is turned on and display is just blinking. I tried that button for turning phone on, nothing responds....I don't know what is going. While I was using he turns itself off. I forget to tell that I pull the battery out and nothing changed.
