Didn't work for me. A little bit of intro would be helpful. Much is implied here, but unclear. (key in dash slot, no foot on brake, etc). Anyway, didn't work for me. 2009 model. Here is what worked (not clearly shown in video): - make sure odometer is on total miles (not trip a or b). Power off (after verifying ODO setting). No foot on brake. Tap power button twice while holding ODO button down. Watch odometer - it will go to dashes that slowly disappear, then flash 000000 before going back to total ODO. Press power button to power off. DONE

Didn't seem to work. so I I tried the other one that told you to hold the start button down for at least 45 seconds. Didn't seem to work either but when I drove the car it went out after the second short trip, that was several days ago. Hooray! Prior to this I tried to clean the mass airflow sensor, with no luck. Bough a cheap MAS on eBay, have not seen any improvement in gas mileage or anything else, strange.

This procedure will only clear the maintenance required light. Do you have any other lights that stay on after starting your vehicle?

As I was driving my 2005 Prius today I noticed the full moon symbol on the display screen in the top left corner..does anyone know why this is there? It happens to be a full moon right now and i'd like to think that symbol only shows up when there is a full moon (how cool would that be??), but maybe it could signify that it is night time? Or has it always been there and I have never even noticed? haha! Not sure but would love any feedback!

Not the triangle light. Only the engine light.

@@omermaghfoor2253 If the check engine light is on, the computer is finding an error somewhere. You need to have it scanned and then just google that code to see what exactly the problem is. If you're in the States, you can go to Autozone and they will scan it for free.
