For those with button start, press button twice without pressing brake. Should be at RUN then press gas pedal to floor 3 times within 10 seconds

I stepped to the floor 3 times. Nothing! 🤔Should I have stepped in the brake pad or accelerator or followed your instructions and just stepped my foot to the floor 3 times???

No, there is an algorithm which is designed to take into account how it is driven. If you take a lot of short drives or have a heavy foot, it will shorten the life cycle calculation. I still use a general maximum miles to make sure it gets changed (not trusting the the system is foolproof). However, I told my wife if the indicator does come on before that, let me know and I'll change the oil and filter asap. BTW, I use full synthetic and the factory filter. This is the cheapest insurance you have to keep your engine humming along.

Push button start? No owners manual and all searches are for models with a normal key...

When you have a push button start, normally you must step on the brake pedal at the same time you press the button to start the car. To turn the ignition on without starting the car, press the start button without stepping on the brake. This is Ascy mode. Press the button again and now the ignition is on and the oil minder can be reset. Press the start button again and the ignition is shut off.

Ok you said turn the key to the ON position not to start the Van and then you said “To The Floor Three Times”. What’s to the floor three times?. You didn’t say which pedal you’re supposed to floor????, you repeated the steps TWICE without mentioning which pedal you’re talking about???? Gas? Break? Clutch????.

You hold the pedal to the floor until you hear the three knocks from the engine. STOP!! That was a joke. I don't know why this is so hard for so many people?!! 1) Turn the key to the ON position 2) DON'T START THE ENGINE 3) depress the gas pedal three times within 10 seconds 4) You're done.
