WHATS GOING ON GUYS RYAN FROM COROLLA CUSTOMZ HERE WITH A WHOLE NEW VIDEO. YAYYYYY! SO ON THIS VIDEO I WILL SHOW YOU GUYS HOW TO RESET YOUR CHEVY TRUCK AFTER JUMP STARTING IT. WHEN YOU TYPICALLY JUMP START THIS VEHICLE WITH AN ALMOST DEAD BATTERY, YOUR GAUGES ACT A LITTLE TRIPPY, ALSO ALMOST ALL ELECTRONICS PRETTY MUCH ARE SHOT AND DOES NOT WORK. SO BASICALLY AFTER RUNNING THE TRUCK FOR A BIT, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS REALLY DISCONNECT THE NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE AND WAIT 10 SECONDS, AFTER THAT ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS REINSTALL THE NEGATIVE CABLE AND START THE TRUCK AND EVERYTHING WILL BE RESET. This video caught my eye while looking for a problem with the radio in my Suburban would not shut off like it is supposed to. I did have to jump start the truck this morning so I gave it a try. Disconnected the battery cable for several seconds and reconnected. Went back to the cab and the radio was off. Started the truck normally and the radio came on. This time the radio shut off when opening the door after shutting off the engine.

Hey man I have a 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 never had any issues I left the key on .. battery died and when I jump started in I have no window power abs light is on battery light air bag light and check engine I charged the battery up to 13.5 volts and tried disconnecting the terminal to reset and still have the same issue

Check your fuses. Try scanning the engine light see if any codes come up

Looks like you are discharging, bet your problem is the alternator. While running disconnect the positive terminal on the battery, if the motor dies then it’s the alternator. A motor needs electricity to run, it can run off the battery until it drains the battery or it can run off the alternator. Your gauge shows that you aren’t charging. Gauge should read above 14 on a low battery.

lovin' the Avalanche uploads! ever attempt to put a second battery in a '02-'06 model? supposedly there's a mount/kit for installing one on the passenger side next to coolant resevoir, opposite corner of original battery.
