I purchased this desk two years ago. I use it everyday and move it up and down 5-10 times per day. I live in chile and brought this thing back on a trip. All I have to say is the Vivo customer service experiences was amazing. I had a problem with my desk, I left a message at 5:30 pm Friday, I had an email at 6:oopm. The helped me resolve my issues

This worked thanks for the video, I had no idea how to do this for my frame and just noticed the legs were kind of getting stuck at a certain height instead of going all the way down. Came across this while searching for a solution. You guys are awesome for putting up these videos.

After getting caught on something while lowering, I was confused why my desk wouldn't lower enough to be flush with my armrests anymore. I thought it was a hardware thing, but tried this and it worked perfectly. Thank you!

I have trouble with my vivo desk from time to time, but honestly it has worked just about as well as my $1200+ desks from Knoll that I have at our office. The price was right for vivo and wow does it go really high. I have the dual motor version, would buy again.

My desk became slanted for some unknown reason with one leg suddenly higher than the other, but this reset trick fixed things, thanks VIVO!

This was great. Mines was in error mode. Starting from error mode, I could lower it or plugging off did not eliminate the error. However, holding the down button for 10 secs helped it go down in rst mode and then it was reset at the bottom position.

I'm having an issue. When I raise my desk, it only raises the left side, not both. So I tried detaching the sync rod to troubleshoot but I couldn't. The sync rod is stuck on the motor leg. Any ideas?

We're sorry the desk is having this problem! If the problem is that the nut/wingnut is too tight to unscrew by hand, are you able to grip it with pliers to help loosen it?

Adjust the desk to the height you'd like using the arrows, then save to memory by pressing M (don't hold the button, just give it a quick touch like on a keyboard), then within a few seconds, press the number where you would like the setting saved. You can then go back to that position any time by pressing the number again.

@vivo So my keypad use to turn off when not in use now it stays illuminated. Any way to get it to shut off again when not in use? Thank you in advance

I have the VIVO V102E and only one side is lifting up.. Is this a sync rod issue? I try to reset and it goes all the way down when I do, but when the numbers come up, it goes back to 73 on one side. Is there something I can do to get it to work?

We're sorry the desk is having problems! Yes, this does sound like a sync rod issue. With both legs adjusted to the same height, check to make sure the rod is fully inserted into the non-motorized leg, and that both of the wingnuts are tightened. I am getting er4. how to reset? ok, I tried holding down the up and down arrows until it traveled all the way one direction. that worked.

When lowering to my lowest preset, my desk has started to stop, pause and then go back up a few inches. I have tried the reset and guess it didn't work because I still get an Error 2 every time.

I have been doing the hard reset every now and then past a whole year. How to reset the panel if it’s confusing the height. It says it’s at 40 but the legs are in the shortest height still. I can’t go all the way down because the 40 turns to 30 then it stops from going all the way down. Mine needs to be recalibrated some how.

We're sorry the desk is having this problem! Try holding the down button continuously, not letting go even after it hits the bottom. It should eventually go into reset mode.

i don't quite have this model but it does seem to be happening quite a bit, i use it very little and I've had to reset it 3 times this last couple months, is there any preventative measure to prevent this?

Yo Vivo, My desk is starting to make this subtle squeak noise when going up, and I have gotten Er1 message a couple of times now. How do I stop the squeak. Also maintain the legs?

@@VIVOus I believe it's coming from the part that actually raises the desk the turn bar underneath on right side of desk, I don't think it's coming from the legs.

@@ahl6845 Thank you for the info! If the noise is not coming from inside the legs, adding some oil to a few parts may help. You should be able to find two holes on the sides of each leg where the drive rod inserts, and adding oil to these points as well as to the motor gearbox may help with this. You can also add a little oil to the hex shafts to see if this makes any difference. I recetly bought a frame, I tried it and it functioned well but all of a sudden it stopped working, it won't go up nor down, the light on the screen just pulses "8.8.8" and that's it, can you help me? I've tried to reset it but it doesnt move at all. I have unplugged it and plugged it again and still nothing, I literally just bought it 😭

I have an error message saying r5R, any ideas on what to do next? Desk will not work

This is a reset message that appears on a couple of our frames if a problem happens. Make sure the control unit (black box with all the cables plugged into it) is fully mounted to the frame, and then hold the up and down arrows until the desk is lowered and the reset process completes.

unfortunately i put my desk together and set up all my monitors and computers and other accessories before testing the desk to make sure it works witch it doesn't :/ only the left side went up. i tried resetting the desk like the video shows and it went all the way down and showd rst on the screen, but i held the down button again and it never showed numbers. i unplugged it and replugged it again and now neither side goes up.
