When I upgraded from my 6S Plus (yeah, I like to hang onto phones for a while) I was pleasantly surprised at how painless Apple has made the process. However, your tips did come in handy because not everything was intuitive (for me, anyway).

Hello. I actually used Quick start to transfer data from old one to new one but then I realized i messed something up and now i need to do Quick Start once again, but first i need to erase my new iphone. Will that also delete my old iphone or it will only affect the new one? I am afraid that my old iphone will get erased too. Please help

I got a new phone and completely erased everything from my old phone. Factory reset for it. I realized I forgot to reset the find my iPhone. Will it still be okay for me to trade it in or do I need to go back and do that

It should have asked you for your Apple id password in the reset process, that would disable find my. You should also have received an email confirming the find my disable. If you didn’t get the email you may not have had find my turned on or you could start the setup process and see it it activates without needing your Apple ID password.
