Hi Kseniya Thanks for all your help and info. Love your content. Quick question for you - filing for my mom who is currently in the US in the last 4 months. The household size required in the public charge question should be our household in the US or should this be my moms household overseas.

Hey kseniy! I filled all my forms with your videos but I have one problem I submit my I130 10 days ago online but I still dont have the online receipt notice.It says case recieved and notice sent but in the documents section it says 0 of 0 notice. I-485 instructions say only count your spouse if physically living with you.

As long as the edition and expiration dates on those pages match the original form you’ve sent it should be ok.

Hi Kseniya, your videos helped me file AOS for my parents who are currently in USA. We received the RFE for public charge related question where they mentioned that my parents are subject to public charge. I also filed I-864 (Affidavit of support along with I-485 for my Mom and Dad). I am not sure what to enter in household size in I-485 since my parents are living with me and they are retired and they never worked in US. Should I include me and my wife as well along with my parents to count household size (4) or just my mom and dad (2) ?

@@ytmb2008 - I put in household size as 2 and updated the answers of public charge questions. Then I filled the both I-485 and I-846 once again and uploaded them and also mailed the copy of those two forms just to be on safer side because there was no clear instructions on whether or not we need to send whole forms or just portion of form with updated answers. We then received the update from USCIS next week regarding the approval on the case and received the GC by mail after one week.

I have 2 quick questions. 1) Did you put income as $0 as the parents are retired. 2) RFE says that, RFE receipt should be first doc. So I am planning to scan them in 1 doc and upload. Thoughts ?

@@patel8514 - I responded as applicant , my parent - and our case was successfully approved. I put income as 0-10k or whatever the first choice is. In cover letter I said “Please find enclosed my revised response to Part 8, Item Numbers 61-68, Pages 13 and 14 of Form I-485 related to the public charge ground of inadmissibility. Each answer is initialed and dated accordingly as requested” and I apologize for any confusion caused by my previous response and appreciate your understanding in this matter. I misinterpreted the question due to my professional status as retired and my Sponsor and Son, Mr. Axxx Patel, will be supporting me financially. The required information regarding the financial support is provided in the Affidavit of support - form I-864 submitted along with the initial application on Date …” . Hope this helps

Hi kseniya, good morning. Your videos are very helpful. Thank you. I am an applicant applying for adjustments of status. I received a REF for more evidence for Form I-864 Affidavit of Support. My petitioner made a mistake on page 4 pt 6 question 7 and pg 5 pt 6 question 20 and 24a-24c. We realized the mistake and we will fill a new form. And send the remaining evidence. My petitioner has changed jobs and is currently employed by a different company. Therefore preparing a new form he has to mention his current employment information. Should he send a letter explaining the changes?

In my home country, police record can be applied and downloaded easily. I do not have any crime or things else in the past. I tried to apply to check my status on the police record. And now I have the police record document with my clear status of any crime or charge. I wonder if I should include the police record document that I have just received?

Just recently sent all documents for my parents to apply for AOS. In regards to the tax return transcript that I downloaded from IRS.gov , it was hiding all my info and it wasn't showing my full name....I wonder if that's normal ?
