Great series Pete. 200% better than the stuff I've done with bottom shelf (pink) kitty hair Bondo. 2 weeks of elbow grease to have an "ok - GnF rat rod" job. Gonna do it this way on the Fairlane. Hey that reminds me, you should package and sale "Elbow Grease" by the Pint. You'd take Gates down a few notches on the Forbes 500 list in a week!

Originally, those old steering wheels were casted in color, not painted, but nevertheless, that steering wheel came out nice.

There's something about going into your shop and focusing on a project instead of all the crap going on in the world...a mans shop is a mans escape right? Lol. Crank-up the stereo with your favorite tunes...some Blues Rock/Whiskey Blues, some 60's and 70's Rock... a cup of hot coffee on the cold days and another chance to use the cool tools you've worked hard to buy new...or found at a garage sale...maybe watch some D.I.Y. videos out there while working too. peace
