Now that the rust is all repaired it's time to do the bodywork and get this car in some real primer. We pull dents, add bondo, sand body filler, add more bondo, and block sand by hand. It's a big job but My Friend Pete of DIY AUTO SCHOOL can do the job RIGHT!

Petes the real deal... Any other body shop would have put a lein on the stang as soon as the owner ran outta money... Pete however stored the car for YEARS and even moved it with him for FREE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks great Pete!👍.. that 'Stang looks like a '68... I'm having flashbacks.. when I was 17 I had a 67 Fastback that we put through my buddy's body shop 47 years ago...I love your dent puller.. I've never seen one like that.. I like the paint stick sander as well.. it's nice that we now I have sticky sandpaper to be able to wrap it.. I remember having to tape it on haha.. I also like your dowel sander that's pretty cool!.. I just bought an old Hutchins orbital off of a fella that was retiring and once it warms up here in central Canada I'm going to put it into action.. question.. and you may have covered this in earlier videos but did you buy your dent puller or did you make it and what kind of rod do you use?... is it an arc welding rod or mild steel?

Pete tell them about how to feel for dents. With you're hand. The hand is my number one tool for finding imperfections. It's amazing what we can feel just with our hand. I don't use guide coats and colors it's all in the hand. Thanks Pete. From Idaho Dan.

Pete have you ever used PPG 2050 high build epoxy It's $400 a gallon but it eliminates using epoxy plus high build separately the restoration shops around here use it so I'm gonna try it on a 52 international I've got coming up

You got any tips on a way to make quick cash on anything I can buy paint and sell? Mainly just got 2 restorations going on at a time and money incoming is slow, was thinking about painting guitars for resale?

I used the speedokoate epoxy primer and thinned it 20% and it was very sandable and not gummy at all. Is it falsely advertised or bad? Its my first body and paint job and it was over an existing paint job.
