How To Restore Faded Bumpers Quick & Cheap - Cherry Blossom Bumper Restoration

In this short video I cover how I restore my faded bumpers back to glossy black for £1 ($1) using Cherry Blossom polish (See link below). I lightly sand the bumpers to refresh the surface and to remove light scratches, then apply the Cherry Blossom to the bumpers, allowing a coat to dry before applying another coat. I do a total of 4 coats on both the front and back bumpers which were very faded. After applying coats of Cherry Blossom to the bumpers they come back shiny black and glossy in colour. Cherry Blossom polish is very cheap at just £1 per tub which is enough to do front and back bumpers a number of times. The full bumper restoration took less than an hour and cost £1 to complete and the before/after results are amazing.

I read about this a few years ago, people doing their t4 dash boards, I tried it on some grey plastic pa speakers with great results, dries very well and doesn't come off easily, never thought to empty the bottle out so took ages using the sponge which come as the applicator on the top of the bottle. Enjoy watching your conversation, thanks and keep them coming 👍

WOW!! I've just this second cancelled my order off ebay after watching this , was ordering the GTECHNIQ c4 but so glad i watched this and has far better results for pennies rather than spending £24.99. Nice one uploader.

This is a great solution. I have tried Triple wax restore/Back to black/Carplan/Tripple wax bumper and dash repair and about 10 other products on my 2011 front half faded bumper on my Qashqai and nothing worked. This however is fantastic. I did same (got 2 sponge bottles of this from Choice store in Ireland) and it is amazing. Not to mention it even survives 2 power washes so far and 2 weeks of rain/sun/rain. The best thing is it cost me 2 euro including the sponge. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

I have literally just used this stuff in the cab of my old 2002 transit rubber flooring. Just gave it a good wash and scrub first and then applied it and wow what a difference!! It really does look like I have replaced the rubber flooring and it also goes such a long way. I bought two bottles, a pound each and only needed one so even have a spare one!!

Looking good, I did my bumpers with rubber paint, they looked great but last week I came back to the van and someone has scraped the front bumper, the paint is ripped, tried to patch it up but it really needs peeling off and doing again, I might just peel it off and try this instead. Great job.

What a great idea and so easy to do. I was gonna order some bumper spray to do mine from gray to black but now i think i might try this. Dose it last long though after the rain and our crappy UK weather as got to it?

usually most of the cheap stores stock it, poundland, B&M, Wilko's, even supermarkets. Worse case there's always eBay

Nice work very easily done what if we wash it with diesel like how we was our car to clean the dirt and oil. Will it come of or will it fade ..

How are the bumpers looking three weeks later? Does any colour rub off when it get hot and/or wet? By the way, the rear fogs have a little clip on the side and just pop out. Far easier to do that than mask them up.
@TheCampervanBuilder

They still look good, the back is a little dirty but only where stood on getting in/out, all corners etc still look the same, no rub or run off
