It happens on most devices I think OnePlus might appear a bit as they're modded frequently, but I often see it for Xiaomi/Realmi/Poco devices quite a bit

ROM would be different to a device unfortunately

I have seen some have success by rooting, using magisk hide to get L1 - but I haven't used it myself

If DRM info is showing L1, then it should work Have you tried clearing the app cache / data for Netflix, or reinstalling? Sounds more like a Netflix issue, it's always a bit painful

I had same problem Netflix showing L3 , but drm showing L1, all i did was dowgrafe Netflix to the first verison and the upgrade it from play store , It automatically came to L1

@@trustmesiliguri2298 I know I'm not supposed to ask around here for help but really need help. so...I had just bought a blackview tab 18 online from AliExpress and got it delivered to me this morning. I was doing some initial testings and settings. while i was doing all these, I also tested Netflix app but it couldn't display 1080p HD but just basic 720p SD. then I checked it with DRM Info app to see what widewine version was installed. DRM showed L3 instead of L1. Netflix app play specifications showed L3 . reset the tab to factory settings but DRM still showed L3. I did connect the tab to my xiaomi mi pad 4 (copying data, apps, settings from it) with a cable before i started setting up the tab. however, i don't think this action would override anything (settings, versions etc) on the tab including widevine version (the default version). tec)technically just not possible.

Most devices these days (except Samsung) have 2 separate boot slots which allows seamless updates - basically each update will apply it to the inactive slot and upon reboot will swap to using that slot. Downside is you need to make sure both slots have L1, otherwise your next update might revert back to L3

@@FilthyCasualTech didn't know that,thank u. I lost L1 to L3 when updating to OOS11. In past i had Tried downgrading to OOS10 with MSM Tool & OTA methods twice and upgrading to OOS11 via OTA. (But upgraded only once via OTA,and didn't get L1 back. Is there any possibility to get L1 back by ur method of twice OTA Upgrade. Or with direct flashing to OOS11 using MSM to as it's available now

I think there's a chance, but it's always hard to predict when you lose it like that 😭

Would have to check if I do this again - didn't stay on either long, it's back on A13 now

I have seen some guides where they install OOS11, then install Magisk and enable Magisk Hide, then confirm L1

@@FilthyCasualTech DId they also install any modules? I've installed magisk, enabled denylist, hidden the app and still no L1.

I didn't for this Unfortunately it depends how you lost L1 so sometimes it can be a pain
