It was so easy to follow this video and do it on my own definitely saved money and time from going to place to have it done.

The trick to press and hold the shift key while restarting the pc did the trick to get my old Dell Studio to the option screen where I was able to reset it. Great idea. Thanks.

I couldn’t get this way to work from the lock screen using the “shift” key on the left would not bring up the “troubleshooting” option. But when I used the “shift” key on the right side it finally worked! Just FYI for anyone that maybe having issue’s.
