How To Restore Spindles!

I rebuild the spindles for my 1970 Cuda in 7 Easy steps! I don't use any special tools. No powder coating or sandblasting! These spindles actually came from a junkyard and were rough! I go through the entire detailed process and make it simple to get them like new again.
The process is the same for any make or model. You can easily restore your cars knuckles in your garage. In a few hours you can have them looking fantastic.

TY NPD folks my bro has a 69 merc convert cat got 70 fomoco spindles complete 100 each ebay soaked in citrus cleaner power washed placed in a solution 9 1 molasses water to fill any corrosion, then back into citrus soak.. polished out like new. once clean one can use self etching primer not the rattle can rather the real deal from auto supply then chassis paint.

Might want to remove paint where the bearing seal rides. Looks good.

Something to think about picking up is an ultrasonic cleaner. I blasted my spindles and then put them in the ultra sonic to get all the last bit of crud and junk out of the threads and pores.

Those look great! We had a bead blaster where I worked and I used it *a lot!* Did any rotors or shields come with those? Gonna do power? If so, got vacuum?

Didn’t come with anything else! Staying manual brakes. When we built the motor we discussed that then as it doesn’t have enough vacuum for power and I’m good with that.
