Put the candle in the freezer for half an hour, then the wax just pops out, no need for hot or boiling water

I’ve least done it this way too. I May try the hot water to see if there’s a difference.

I use the freezer method. Takes 30 minutes and it pops right out. Repurpose the jar and use the rest as wax melts or make another candle.

Damn girl I've been wondering how to get the candle holders clean! Now I know! I was reusing the wax using a torch to melt the outside of the candle and pour the used wax onto a new candle. Thanks for doing this video 😊

I’ve broken a very expensive glass bong with pouring boiling water in it. I suggest letting the temp get just a little bit cooler than boiling.
@flyingpotatoe12997 ай бұрын
Glass candle holders are made with glass that can handle those hot temperatures

a smoking bong? why would you use boiling water? if you were trying to clean it you should use alcohol (96% or better) and salt.

Ha - if you have a gas stove with a middle plate (protects from direct flame), you can melt the wax, pour it in another container, clean out the first container, rewick and then start pouring candles to make a new one. Just make sure the scents are within the same scent profile. It takes about 6-7 Bath and Bodyworks candle leftover wax to make a new one.

Do NOT use this technique if you have handmade/ essential oil candles. I make me own candles and tried this and the hot water just separated from the wax.:( smelt great tho. Use double broiler method! Thanks for the tips though!!

Hot water makes the essential oils in the wax dissolve with the water and come out when the water is poured into the sink , so the wax remains odorless

@@DramaticMac I'm the same way with candles too, I am a hob goblin. I have around 15 candles from BBW and I typically let the candle burn until it's around a inch (or half inch) and poor the melted wax in a bowl, take a spoon and get the wax that didn't melt while torching the aluminum wix things. I was taken off guard because I have been so used to using heat for cleaning the wax out, heating the left over wax in a bowl then freezing it so it's coherent. Your method is definitely interesting and I have taken a shot at it. Definitely more efficient than what I've been doing ❤️
