Kosmo's Q BBQ & Grilling

Күн бұрын

Class is in session and today, you’re gonna learn how to reverse sear a ribeye steak. We’re firing up the Weber Kettle and going step-by-step through the reverse searing process. From a light trim to applying rubs, you’ll see exactly how a World Steak Champion does it. And this time around, we messed with the $10,000 steak recipe by using three different rubs and swapping Brisket Mop with Kerrygold butter. Get ready! You’re going to be blown away when you see how easy it is to create a flavor-packed ribeye that has the perfect reverse sear.

It makes a lot of difference by letting it rest. Thank you for the information on the kerygold butter. You don't have to heat it up for it to melt. Put it beside the pit a few minutes before needed it.

I absolutely love every Kosmo Q product that ive tried. At what temperature do you recommend having the steak when you put it on the grill? Season straight from the fridge or let steak reach room temperature before or after seasoning?
@KosmosQ
@KosmosQ 9 ай бұрын
Appreciate you 👊🏼💥 Typically let it get up to room temp (or close) then season it and let it rest a little longer just to soak in the rubs

Kosmo I've missed you! For some odd reason KZfaq did not inform me on pc of your vid's, but the other day on phone I got one...so I watched a couple. Now you show up on my pc...after more than 6 months I'm sure I have a lot to catch up on. Good to see you in my feed again. Question: that's two steaks, what if you needed to cook 30 steaks with various: MW, M...and please forbid....WD?

What tips do you have for steaks that are not as thick? A lot of the cuts my local grocery store does are about 1.25” thick, or even 1”
@KosmosQ
@KosmosQ 10 ай бұрын
Get a good thermometer! Thinner steaks with less marbling will get to temp way faster, so you'll want to stay on top of it

Might even be better doing a front sear instead of a reverse sear for thinner cuts.
