Could it help if using a small braided as stainless steel 2-3 feet as a leader? Prevent wahoo or king mackerel from cutting it?

I got Dogtooth 14kg using minnow heavy sinking with leader 25 lbs; Do we need 170 lbs? Thanks

yes u need 170lbs + also i cought mackerel 17kg from shore on 20lb with rod max 25g its not about leader issues every one hunt doggies is going to take maybe 170+ to 220lbs
