Hello dear friends, and happy June!! 🌼 I wanted to celebrate the upcoming start of the summer season with this cozy video on how I enjoy the small, simple joys of summer. As someone who loves autumn and cozy season, summer has been a more difficult season for me to learn to appreciate, but I’ve grown to enjoy and look forward to the summer by making time for simple moments of presence.

I so understand your feelings towards summer. I’m a spring and fall girl myself. I live in Florida and the summers here can be quite brutal. But your video is spot on - stay in the present, that’s where one finds peace. ✌️ ❤

i just came across your channel and this is my first video watching. So beautiful. Love your creative side (i am very creative too) and the soothing pace of the video. I must say, i had the same feelings towards one of the seasons - winter, which for a very long time i didnt like, but i am learning to enjoy it, just like you, by being present. I love late spring and early summer the most, when the flowers are in full bloom, the greenery is fresh and smells in the air are simply magical, it is full of butterflies and here where i live (Bucharest, Romania) there are lots of linden trees that fill the mornings and evenings with a hypnotic scent. And then, there is also the majestic beauty of fall, but this also came late in life for me, to love it, and i still think that there is nothing more magical than flowers, bees and butterflies. The only downside to summer is the heat these days, but daily walks in the biggest park with a lake nearby my house during early mornings are still deeply fulfilling.

I was feeling slightly unmotivated and unsure of where to start for June, but your video has once more done its magic. I'm starting to form ideas, but also accepting that it takes time sometimes to transition from one season to another, and it doesn't simply happen. I too love the winter and the spring, as me and my black rescue greyhound Madge do not do well in the hot sun of summer. So we are enjoying June in West Devon, England, as it is only about 15 degrees centigrade, and that is just lovely! We are in the country, and love our walks - we saw a beautiful hare this morning, and rabbits on our lane - we are so lucky. xxx

Well there's another thing we have in common, summer is definitely not my favorite either, lol. But what a beautiful reminder to find joy in every circumstance. I have been trying to make time each day to sit outside and just be present. I listen to the birds, watch the bees, and let my cat play in the yard. Even if it's just for a few minutes, I can feel the difference in my spirit on the days I'm able to do it. The facial mist in the fridge is genius! I get overheated easily and I can see this being a lifesaver. I made lemon and cucumber water the other day and it was so refreshing. Your windowsill garden looks great by the way! Gorgeous video. I am glad that you are exploring and gardening, and having fun doing things! I love water, so it is interesting when I hear that people struggle to drink it! Your bucket list is great! I hope you are able to accomplish it. I used to scrapbook for a while, but stopped. It is lovely to see what you did in your decorating and scrapbooking. Very cute. I love those little printers and should get one for my penpals (I do have a polaroid printer but the film is expensive and not enough in it).

Does it get really hot where you live? Because that's one of the reasons I don't like Summer, is that it gets really hot and can barely get two thoughts straight. It's much lovelier when I visit my parents in Portugal, as they live by the coast and there is always a breeze. I do miss picknicks and wish I had a lovely forest not far, but I'll make do with what I do have. A bucket list is a excellent idea to get into the mood of Summer ! Take care, dear friend 🥰

Hello beauty!! ❤️ Yesss it gets so hot and humid here, and unfortunately our cottage is not well insulated because it’s so old, so it’s quite hot inside during the summer even with our AC units running! 🫠 😂 The summers in Portugal sound like an absolute dream-I must visit there someday! I’m not fond of too much heat in summer either, it’s only in recent years that summers in Northern Ireland where I live have gotten a lot hotter and it’s hard work just going about your daily life! But thank you for reminding me that we don’t have to wait until the weekend to have fun summer nights out, that’s a brilliant point I’m going to take inspiration from. I'm struggling mentally at the moment and your video really calmed me down, thank you 💗It makes me excited for summer to come ! Thank you for another beautiful video! Summer is my favorite time of the year. No school, hot days and warm nights. I get caught up on movies and tv shows, finish projects and take nice day trips around my area. Even the sounds and smells of Summer always bring me joy. As a mom with two kids, summer quickly lost its appeal for me with bored kiddos always under foot or fighting or complaining. I lost some of my peace during summer, so I kind of endured it. Luckily, that phase of life is swinging back around again as the kids are now teens and easier to entertain, haha. Cooking and baking with seasonal produce is also something I want to be more aware of and what better way to support that than going to a farmers market! Love this so much. Your meals looked colorful and delicious 🤩 proud of you Miss Haley, for being aware of the lack of enthusiasm for Summer and consciously injecting more fun into the season for yourself 💖

I can't even begin to imagine what it's like for moms who have to take care of little ones all summer long--I feel exhausted just thinking about it!! 😂 I am so happy to hear that summers have gotten a bit less stressful now that they're teens! I dread summer..while I love the colors of the garden veggies and the flowers, I live in AZ. Not the super crazy hot area, but more north. But, everything is sooo brown. I felt 20 degrees cooler just seeing all the lovely green surrounding you. I am a Maryland native and somehow, I forget the humidity that goes along with all the green. So, I will make the most of the summer days and try to find the calm and adventure in each day as I patiently wait for cooler weather! Is it too early to dress the house for fall, asking for a friend! LOL Thanks for the lovely video

I completely understand!! Yesss I love the green here in the summer, but my goodness the humidity is a lot 😅 and it is NEVER too early to decorate for fall, in my book!! 🍁 I always start in August (at the latest) --I just can't help myself hahah!
