How to run 2 (or more) World of Tanks clients at the same time (works in 1.24.1.0 APRIL 2024)

THIS TUTORIAL STILL WORKS IN 1.24.1.0

After updating the game to version 1.9 I noticed, that it is impossible to start another instance of the game when one is already running.
I found a post on reddit how to solve this problem, but this post is from 2015 and requires a few additional steps. By trial and error, I found a working solution. (Link to original Reddit thread: / how_to_run_2_wot_clien... )

0:00 - Start - problem showcase
0:53 - creating direct shortcut for WorldOfTanks.exe
1:23 - fixing problem with Process Explorer (procexp64.exe)
2:14 - launching second WorldOfTanks.exe process - you can close (kill) procexp64.exe program

May 18th 2023 and it's still working. wot_client_mutex doesn't show up in the explorer but it still works. I just did a recon mission on one account while my other was getting bullied af on Mars at the same time lol.

can I open 4 wot client in one time, I allready opend 2, but I was wondering if I can open 4

You can open as many clients as you want as long as you have much RAM. For 4 games opened at once and for optimal performance you should have at least 12GB of ram and 4GB of VRAM

you don't need to platoon, you can just play with the recruited account without opening more than one game

Do I have to 1. Keep process explorer open? 2. Do this every time?

You can close Process Explorer after everything is done. And yes, you have to do it every time you launch a game

there are no wot_client_mutex, and without it i can not launch another client what might be the problem?

Look at the pinned comment. Wot_client_mutex doesn't show up but there are still wgc_game and wgc_running. You probably need to close only wgc_running but better close both and it will work.

Jak chcesz dwa konta naraz do jednej bitwy wrzucać, to uważaj, bo zawsze jakiś gracz może ticketa wysłać, ja robię tak, że odpalam dwa konta rekruta i jak na jednym mnie rozwalą, to na drugim wchodzę

I noticed it too, that's why I switched to Process Hacker, it has same functionality and doesn't need administrator privileges

Doesn't work on 1.19. There is no wot_client_mutex so you can't do that Do you know how to do it in 1.19?
