You can also get a short cable that reverses the polarity for the 9 volt. That way you don't have to cut anything or solder or anything

Right, because it's not the cables that have the weird polarity, it's the guitar pedal standard being the opposite of normal outputs.

Hey thanks I have all my peddles on a daisy chain but this would be a good option! Yes all peddles use the polarity set up
