For five nights with a family of four, that's really not so bad! Disney is notoriously expensive and I think you did a great job of balancing cool experiences with not being completely over the top! Seeing this specific breakdown was super helpful and helps me make sure I won't forget to budget for anything for my trip with my fam of four, too. (Even as a Disney vet! This will be the first trip WITH kids!)

They did not always have a parking fee at Disney Resorts. That’s probably why it’s considered a separate charge. About 2 years ago they started charging. The plus side is the parking fee covers parking at each theme park if you drive there.

I know I’m late but girl I can’t tell you how extremely helpful this video was!! Although I don’t plan vacation soon, this information was great to have. We just came from Disney and universal two weeks ago. I will say, we always stay off Disney property. I think we spent $5600 but for 10 days staying in Florida and that’s including 6 park tickets between Disney and universal for our family of four. I always say I want to stay on property but I see the price and freak.

On july I will be going to disney 3 parks 5 days but staying in a house our family rented, with no kids only taking my mom for her birthday hopefully without kids is not going to be so expensive yet our cuban family drinks alot lets see ;) thanks for sharing your expenses it gave me a good idea what to expect

Yup I would say plan and budget we were in an Airbnb we packed lunches and only ate in the park once it was a very tight budget for us but we had a good time we went to Hollywood studios then visited other attractions aside from Disney I would def recommend Airbnb for a cheaper option we cooked our own dinner so it worked out better we stayed in Florida 5days I hope this may be helpful our trip was $3000 IL to FL we drove

Parking is separate because some people don't use their own car to drive there. We flew and used taxi to get to our hotel. While there we used the hotel busses to get to the parks. Thanks for the breakdown!!

You could have and people can save on parking also as I noticed you paid for hotel parking and park parking when each resort provides the transport so would have saved you $100 on parking alone 🙂 just a tip if anyone is going to know you don’t have to pay for parking twice a day! ☺️

I’m still not done with the video but answering the parking fee at the resort. This started 2 years ago and what I heard is that people would leave their cars at Disney properties who were not staying there just to avoid paying for parking at the parks. Don’t know if that’s completely true but I’ve seen people lie saying they're going to check-in and just leave their car anywhere inside a resort and the reason why people got away with this is that Disney doesn’t give you a parking pass for your car when you check-in. At least at the value and moderate, I’ve never got one and I’ve asked for them thinking I needed one. Now this being 100% true I don’t know. But the fees are $14 for value, I think $18 or $20 for moderate and $25 or $30 if I remember correctly, for luxury resorts. At first, I was pissed because we go all the time being an AP but it’s the same crap staying outside any hotel. They either catch you with the $18 parking fee or the hidden resort fee 😤 that’s how I see it.

I have heard around 5k is about how much is costs for a family of 4 to go to Disney. I know it can be done for less or more but I think that is pretty realistic amount.

My brother is a computer engineer for Disney so he actually gets us In all the parks for free which is such a good perk when you see how much is costs!
