Can I just say that I really do appreciate the fact that you have taken the time to sit down & talk finances with your community here. I have noticed you are not like most of these other you tubers who are FAKE & like to paint this perfect picture. Making it look like they live this fairy tale life style. We are not idiots here. We know that NO ONE is perfect & NO ONE lives a perfect life. Life is not all rainbows & butterflies & it’s easy to see through people who make it look like so. Especially right now with this pandemic we know so many are struggling & are failing. So for those who continue to put on their shows it’s just not right. In my opinion. I love your honesty & realness. Most people would never open up to the camera like you have here, & talk LEGIT numbers. They act like it’s such a secret when in all reality this kind of stuff is motivating, inspiring, & can really help someone else out. Some people may not even know HOW to really track finances, etc. So I thank you for this girl. There will ALWAYS be the negative Nancy’s no matter what. We can not please everyone! There will always be someone in the comment sections with something to say. Ignore it & do you. One thing I have learned is I never ever compare myself to anyone else. And I always preach about it to others, to NEVER COMPARE your life to anyone else’s as we never know who is being real or not. It’s all for show y’all. We all are on different pants in our life. For me, it’s truly embarrassing what I make. This pandemic has sucked ... but I say, Just be yourself, stay in your lane, & focus on your goals & what you want for yourself / family. ❤️

You’ll see tomorrow, our grocery budget is large, but it hasn’t always been that way. We’ve added to that budget as we’ve had more money to work with, but I’ve always been a fan of trying to cut costs on food. I’d do Publix BOGOs all the time and I tried couponing for a bit. It’s so fun but it got too time consuming for me right now. Now I love shopping at Aldi. Prices are great.

It’s half the price of KZfaq TV and exactly the same so look into it if you want to save there. Also if your cellular plan is with AT&T, look into getting HBO Max thru your cell plan (we upgraded to an unlimited plan and it came with HBO Max)

Thanks for the video Kayla very interesting, my finances are very different as I live in the uk and I live in 1 of the cheapest places in the uk too. I was born here so I don’t know any different. I live on a pleasant estate with all other home owners in a 4 bed house and we pay £600 a month for mortgage but the difference in our monthly income is 1000’s apart from yours. It’s mad how different the expenses are and income from work is depending on where you live! I enjoyed the video, thanks 😊 x

Coming from a massage therapist I do not suggest going every day for a massage. Try to leave atleast 2-3 days for your body to recoup from your last one otherwise you will end up sore.

I’m curious how much you put down on your house. We are in the process of buying our first house but for a $300,000 house here in Texas our mortgage is looking at it would be around $2,000. I’m curious if yours is lower because of your down payment.

Thanks for watching lady 😘❤️ and great question! I talk about that tomorrow but yes! We have one credit card that we use to pay for things, but we pay it off at the end of the month always. No credit card debt thankfully at the moment ☺️

See if Massage Envy offers a suspension of your membership. Which means they put the charges on hold until you can catch up with your massages. I work at Elements Massage which is similar to massage envy and that’s what we offer. You should even see if they allow you to turn some of those massage hours into gift cards, so you can either gift them to people or at least just have the massage gift cards to use for yourself in the future. You should be able to just give them a call and ask. Good luck!😉 Also the Calm app is SO worth it, love it.

Mama I'm 4 mins in and you do not have to explain yourself. You work hard. That's not saying those who can't afford those extra expenses don't. But you and Joe work your tails off. You deserve every luxury you choose to afford!

Thank you for sharing this! It’s so helpful 😊 My husband and I are really excited to take the Dave Ramsey financial series this year which is a great program- highly recommended!

you know I'm not a huge Dave Ramsey person in the sense that I don't think that his word is Gospel but he's got a lot of good principles and a lot of good advice I sort of apply his information to my life and just sort of take and leave what I do and do not want to apply to my life. I joined some of his Facebook groups though and some people are really like you have to do it his way or else kind of people on the Facebook groups, LOL.

Dave has changed our lives!! we finally got out of the vicious cycle of being in the red every month. we don’t follow him to a T (like we aren’t paying the car off early, we only have 5 payments left & we aren’t paying off the home early since we’ll be moving in a few years & have plenty of equity in the home), but what we have applied has been absolutely amazing

@@court1619 yep! Same here! I’ve taken my time a bit more in paying off our car. He’d have told me to pay it off with money from savings, so we differ a little bit there, but he definitely has some solid advice! ❤️

Im late watching this because im a mom. I just want to thank you for making it many people dont like to say what the actual numbers are. This help is to put everything on the table and can save or dont go over of what we make. When i was at school i used to carry few to no cash so i was using my card most of the time and then i was like wow i spent all of that. Im part of the people who use credit card and pay it at the end of the month and i just check my credit through my bank app and i have 800 score credit so when i go back to work i want to get a car and now im more comfortable that whatever i get for apr will be low since i have a good vredit score

Such a great video! Thank you for taking the time to do this! My fiancé and I are thinking of doing a joint account, but budgeting is hard because I’m in tech distribution sales and my income varies month to month based on my commission. Any suggestions?

Some advice I heard was to take the past six months or one year of monthly income and take the average. That way for high months you have money left over to store for lower months. I hope that makes sense :)
