Be ready for the fire when the other doesn't understand your "no", no matter how well you peacefuly explain it. A conscious "no" is just the beginning, you then have to stay conscious during the all storm, not falling into blaming the other but simply keeping your ground, staying aware of the sensations arising in the body without adding a narration on top of it

I think this brings up an interesting distinction between pure spiritual non-resistance vs. being a people-pleaser based upon unresolved subconscious shadow aspects and not wanting to create tension with others. Shadow Integration and Heart-Brain Coherence technique have cured me of the subconscous need to give my power away to please others and I've healed from "incurable" disease in the process. My techniques are largely original coming directly from Source and it all begain by practicing PRESENCE!

Love the title!😂😂...Saying a High quality 'No'...such an apt way of saying ...put boundaries and refuse to put up with behaviour showing zero respect to another individual's space, time, emotions, materials and feelings. There is no resistance in saying that kind of 'No' and no effort in implementing it.... in fact it comes naturally as one's second nature ..its borne out of self respect n self love. The classic traits saying such a No is...you feel light, liberated, brave/ fearless....it releases you from the situational outcome n reaction of another. Its uplifting as it forces you to face your fears n the reward of it is freedom. You breathe free.

The most important thing is to always follow the golden rule, treat other people with respect. Don't ever say or do anything disrespectful. Sometimes we get the wrong idea that saying no to something is disrespectful, but that's not true. We can say no in a respectful way. We can say it in a way that makes it clear that we're not being disrespectful but we might have to say no to something because the truth is that we just don't want to. That's not being disrespectful. It's just being honest. This is especially important with situations like dealing with family members, or friends, things like that. If they ask us to go somewhere or do something, they can sometimes act like if we say no that we're being disrespectful or something like that. But we're not, we just have to be honest and we have to follow our own truth. Don't do anything you don't want to do. Even if it's family members trying to make you feel guilty. You will oftentimes regret it somehow, someway if you give in. It will lead to problems and you one way or another will regret not having instead been honest and following your truth. But always be respectful when you say no. Be very clear and simple that you mean absolutely no disrespect, but you're sorry and you have to say no. Also, when someone asks you if you want something or to go somewhere and you don't want to take the offer, don't just say "No thanks". That's kind of misspeaking because it sounds like "no thanks are being given to you". Instead say "No, but thanks though". It's a small detail that can make a big difference.

Ok, yes sounds reasonable I am a little careful lately....cause I heard so many absurd explanations from people based on their instinct. I think you can easily misinterpret your emotions for your intuition (instinct is a word what might not gut, because instincts are for survival, but that got a little distorted nowadays) But if it's a real intuition, you don't misinterpret it as emotion I think

There is a difference between complaining and describing, to be away from the ego you can tell I am describing this is what is going on, without adding negative emotions to it. Another thing I realize by watching this is that we usually attract negative experiences because we like to tell to others how we are right and others are wrong a sneaky way of complaining

I would say every part of your being well tell you emotional and physically as well. The thing is when you think you believe you have something down you find out that there is more to learn about yourself and others. I had a problem say no and following through with it with a certain group of people and even a few individuals. I really every time engaged with them something got triggered in me to the point of self derivation or hurting myself. The situation got worse instead of better it was fake, even communication to understand did nothing but spark anger and a roller coaster of emotions. It went from really good to really bad quickly. That included myself and I couldn't fully understand why. That for me was a time to say no more to myself more importantly and them as well if they could accept it or not. Eventually it became mutual. Life is ever changing to so don't rule out anything.

Complaining is draining- both in contributing to and receiving the act. I dislike wasting time and energy, and am solution-oriented. In workplace/living contexts, however, there is a difference between filing a grievance (for being discriminated against, unsupported/sabotaged, etc) and complaints (which verge on gossiping/tearing others down many times). The former action seeks to stop harmful behaviors like bullying and favoritism, and I remind myself federal workplace policies like Title IX exist to dismantle systemic bias across organizations. I appreciate living in a time and place as a woman where I can be supported because folks before me fought to pass this legislation.

I'm afraid of the heavy atmosphere created by confliction, which is why I prevent it from happening by not stating my dissenting views/ideas. Can someone please recommend a book with easy and practical instructions and/or with examples in daily life on how to deal with this issue in an understandable, not-so-philosophical way?? When dealing with authoritarians, such as government employees, there's no need to offer explanations or make excuses. Just say "No". It is enough that it is your choice. That's all the justification you need. Example: 'I choose not to take your injection.' Failing to accept your choice is the first step toward violence. Stay present.

I just want to let eckhart know constantly talking about being enlightened to unenlightened people is potentially very harmful to them as it imposes unrealistic expectations on them and ultimately the experiences and reactions that are described are only relevant to enlightened people. When I am enlightened I will dutifully nod my head with the man. Let me explain it is very dangerous believing what this man has to say if you are unenlightened something he never says which is potentially very harmful. Thank you

You already do this it doesn't need to be learnt or special. Waiter :" Do you want olives on your pizza"? You :" No thank you"..... The waiter doesn't say are you sure, because it's your truth.
