Hi Mike - thanks for the great video and clear example provided. How do you tackle this with seasonal businesses with peaks and troughs which require 'de-scaling' at times. Particularly with e-commerce around Christmas time, when you need to make sharp budget increments? Many thanks Si

Hey I’m running a carpet cleaning campaign for a client every thing seems to be dialed in I got only highly targeted exact and phrase match keywords, all RSA’s have excellent ad rank, and on the landing page I have options for phone calls form submit and the option to book online plus an extensive negative keyword list. Average cpc is $12.50 and he is at the top position but after 20 clicks has only received one lead am I doing something wrong on my end if so please give me some pointers thanks in advance 💪🏽

Nope.... with a new campaign, google is still trying to figure things out. If you need to, change to maximize clicks to get some data into the account for a few weeks (or expand the geography or keywords).

Hey mike, this video was very helpful! Random question, if you have a client leave after a couple of months, what do you do? Because couldn’t they just cut your access to their account and resume the ads? Thanks in advance!

Yes they could... but we have set up landing pages for them that they don't have access to. If they want them, we will transfer them over, but they have to sign up for the same landing page software that we use. For any clients that have left us, we have only had 1 client even ask for these pages. But, if they wanted to, they could simply build their own landing pages and just point the ads there. With that said, we have NEVER held an account hostage if they leave us. If they left us, it's for a reason and they are more than welcome to take their account somewhere else (as they paid a set up fee when they signed up and they SHOULD own their account). In the past (and still) there are a lot of companies that if you leave them, they will keep your account. I don't belive in this practice and it's one of our selling points. You paid us to set this account up. If you leave us... you take the account with you (we just set it up and managed it for you). If you're doing your job correctly... and the ads are working... they will WANT to keep paying you as it's beneficial to both parties. Most business owners do NOT want to run their own accounts because they don't understand what they are doing (especially at the level that you do).

@@zacharyryder4080 Yes... we actually did free setups for about 6 months and then we had people take advantage of that (having us do the free setup, using us for 1 month and then just taking the account). It just wasn't worth the time to have people take advantage of us... so now we charge a setup fee no matter what because even in they have their own account, we're still setting up a brand new campaign (the right way) in their account.
