Sure, we can all scan an MRI Cervical Spine but it takes an elite MRI Technologist to scan an MRI Brachial Plexus. The Brachial Plexus is a bundle of nerves that exit the cervical region bilaterally and extend inferiorly to both upper extremities. What makes an MRI Brachial Plexus difficult? Well, for one, there is the battle of chest movement that causes motion. Motion plus the need for high-resolution MR imaging makes this exam quite challenging.
