This video shows you how to seal your concrete garage floor with a urethane coating from Sherwin-Williams that they call Armorseal Rexthane. It's expensive but I have seen great results with it and so far I love my floor! The code they use for this stuff, if you want to buy it, is B65 W 60.

I did my garage floor using exact same process and product. That stuff is bulletproof if done right will not peel at all. Especially with hot tires. I might add I did it the first time without grinding and used a water based floor paint and it started peeling within a month. Had to strip it all.

Rexthane isn't supposed to be used directly onto concrete. It's supposed to adhere to some sort of product before hand. I usually do a gray 8100 epoxy or 1000hs and flakes, then a clear rexthane with sharkbite attitive. If you do that you should be able to do 2 coats of rexthane using a 3/16" nap because the product is thin on about a 20x20 building. I've used a 3/8 roller nap and waster lots of product!

Test for moisture (tape plastic down if it has humidty inside there is moisture in your concrete) or use a meter and make sure it is below 4ph. Your out gassing issue is bc you likely needed a moisture barrier first coat, could have done that in white, screened it and used a coat of rexthane to finish. Rexthane doesn't have enough solids to hold back moisture, in theory you should have screened the first coat to settle some of the outgassing then came in with your second coat and it would have been less.

Do not prime before coating, bubbles are caused by applying too thick. If you thin the product it voids the warranty and will not help. You can find the data page for this product online or ask your local store. You are never to use a primer with any of SW floor applications.

My guess with the bubble is the guy who shook the gallon. This is a common problem with polyurea type of product. You have to mix them at correct speed and be very careful else it get air in it and the coathing is ruined on application.

Great video. How is your floor holding up? Is your floor slippery when it is wet? I plan on doing the same floor coating to my garage floor based on a recommendation from Sherwin Williams. I can't decide if I should add the sharkgrip non slip additive or not. I hear the non slip additive make the floor non slip but more difficult to sweep the floor.
