How to securely mount a Coates spa heater

2 жыл бұрынThe outdoor rated Coates spa heaters specify that they should be "Securely mounted" but they don't provide a means to mount them. I bolted unistrut to the ground and drilled holes in the bottom of the heater to affix it to the unistrut.
Parts from Lowes (they didn't sponsor me, they're just really near my house).

(Also get washers and bolts to match the unistrut nuts)

I don't specifically call them out in the video, but I have galvanized square unistrut washers between the heater and the unistrut to prevent the bottom on the heater from warping when the bolts are tightened.

hi, was this a three phase unit? Trying to install it.. but there's L1, L2 and L3... t1, t2, t3 as well.. manual complicated...

The unit in the video is single phase.

@@ronnelmancera8725 can you post a picture of your nameplate? You can use the info on that to determine your breaker and wire size.

That's 6ga for the lines and 8ga (I think) for the ground
