I have gotten a lot of questions on how to increase chances of having a baby of a specific gender. What positions work? How to time intercourse? Does sperm sorting work? There are a lot of myths out there. Let’s bust some of these myths today.

I hate when ppl say " just be happy with whatever you get" um true...but after having maybe all girls or all boys you can wish for the gender you want... doesn't make it a bad thing... I have a broken relationship with my mom, I would love to have a girl to build my own mother-daughter relationship with my own future daughter...I love my two boys but I can wish to add a girl into my family...Men do this all the time, they wish for a boy to give them a relationship or life that maybe their father didn't give them.

I have 3 boy and I’m pregnant now. A daughter would be a dream come true! My mother and haven’t spoken or seen each in over 10 years. So, I completely understand.

I wish I could, but no idea how. The career I was in didn’t pay enough to pay for daycare. Some ppl are so lucky to be able to do both easily.

I heard increasing sodium levels in the mother before intercourse would increase the chances of having a boy because apparently it makes the environment more suitable for male sperm to survive (they say the male swim faster but die quicker than female sperm due to toxic ph levels in the vaginal environments)

I guess I’m not the person to wonder why anyone would care about gender. My first baby:a girl. My second baby: a boy. My third baby: a girl. People would always ask, “what are you hoping for?” With all three I could honestly say I never had a preference, as long as they were healthy and growing.

You are so right! Congrats Mama on 3 precious babies! We are having our 3rd in just afew weeks! Same order as you girl, boy, girl 💝 Everyone in my family whined about our first being a boy since my side of the family consist of many girls and my husband's side whined about being sick of having boys. Meanwhile im like 😒 stfu.. the baby is already made, stop acting like you all get to choose by whining at me. They still having something to say with this next baby too but I just respond, its a healthy baby that's all that matters to me.

My wife was believing the 3 days before ovulation to have a girl theory. We got pregnant recently probably on the day of and she is a bit "panicked" that we didn't follow procedure, but I told her I was only going along with it for her, and that there is no proof this works. I showed her your video. Thanks for clarifying that. haha BTW, we already have a boy so she really wants a girl. I do too, but it's important to be happy with what you get.

Clinics will generally allow the transfer of two embryos during IVF but don’t usually recommend it as multiple pregnancies are higher risk,

I went with Dr Berry’s method. My son is 45. A woman I worked with asked me about it… after I explained how it worked, she said she was going to try it, because she wanted a boy. Her son just turned 21.

@@rosea164 time intercourse. Take your temperature every morning, before you even get out bed, the day your period starts. It should bump right along around the same temperature until the 10-12 day, when you notice a sharp rise, then a drop, which indicates you've ovulated. If you want a boy, then is when you have sex. Dr Berry theorized Y sperm are lighter and faster than the X sperm, which would result in a male child. X sperm are slower and heavier, but can survive conditions in the uterus longer than the Y sperm. When people say it doesn't work... my son is 45. My daughters are 48 & 40.

@SophieCM3… again, timing. For a girl, take your temperature every morning before you get out of bed, starting on the first day of your period. About day 10, you’ll see a drop in temp, then the next day a sharp rise. That indicates ovulation is occurring. Male sperm are lighter and faster, and will get to that egg long before female sperm. But, female sperm may be slower that male sperm, but they live longer. So have sex a day or two before ovulation, the female sperm will already be waiting. I’m not a dr, I’m not a scientist, and I’m in no way a counselor, but this worked for me and several of my co-workers.

My sons dad has 3 kids, all boys. I’ve always thought some men carry either a mix of each or more xx or xy sperm. Also thought it had to do when you’re ovulating. Even more so it’s Gods plan, amen.

Sperm only have one sex chromosome, X or Y. An XX or XY sperm would be a result of non disjunction (basically an error when the sperm is being made). If an egg (X) is fertilized with an XX sperm, the embryo would have three X chromosomes, a condition known as triple X that can have some health complications, which are usually mild. An XY sperm fertilizing an egg would result in an XXY embryo, which is called Klinefelter syndrome and is associated with infertility and other health issues. Both have a frequency of about 1 in 1000 births.

What about the Chinese birth chart calendar? It's been accurate for everyone that was pregnant before the doctor told them the gender & it aligned with the Chinese gender birth chart . There is instructions to follow that reveals it!!

Honestly female in general are amazing whether a mother , sister or a daughter but seeing how hard it is to find a good guy for your sister or daughter oh my I never thought having a son is sooo much less hectic than girls stress wise . They both can be bad but it hurts when good girls can’t find a partner and society labels them . So many women are mentally corrupt due to society . It hurts .

All of my viable embryos are male so I'm going to do the egg retrieval process again to try for a girl too. I don't want to have no hope at all of a girl! And it's my right to choose since it's a assisted pregnancy and this technology exists. It's mostly boys on husband's side. 11 boys and 2 girls. No new girls born in the last 20 years. I'm a 3rd generation only child. We'd all LOVE a girl in the family.

@@Mustang09Hotty instead of discarding embryos which are babies. Maybe a infertile mom can use them. I think that would be a wonderful alternative if moms don't want their frozen embryos. I wonder if that is actually an option to donate the unwanted ones.

I have a question about conception, if my period was in Oct 3rd ovulation was from the 17th onwards , I had sex around 18th early morning then sex 18th evening the following day 19th 20th , this was with my Main partner , on the 21th leading into the 22nd Oct he’s friend had sex with me , I’ve had two pregnancy with clomid I used the 10 after my period method to conceive both pregnancy both turn out to be girls , this pregnancy is a girl also , who would you say is more likely to be the father , as the second person we had sex at the end stage of ovulation

even with IVF all my embryos are girls. zero boys. IVF for gender selection doesn't work with girls with low ovarian reserve because the number of healthy eggs are very low and even when they get fertilised there is a 50 50 chance of being a girl or boy. I did 3 ivf cycles I got 3 girl embryos . I want a boy sooooo bad
