I find your advice to be much more level headed than that of the guys who say things like "find a $20, 000. rare watch at a yard sale for $5." which is really once in a lifetime deal, if that. But that said, I have been on eBay this time since 2006, and I cannot sell clothing at all ! I don't know what the problem is, but I think I sold maybe 2 items out of 50 before I just gave up on clothes. I tried starting at .99 with free shipping, no reserve and did not even get bids at that on Brooks Brothers shirts. Tried "buy it now" with free shipping, low prices, free returns- not one sale. Mint condition clothes. Only items I did sell were a $1000. Burberry Coat for $50. (and that took months), and a pair of boots at a giveaway price. I do have some limited success with other items, so I keep selling. Also, most of the thrift stores where I live have gotten wise to eBayers some way, and they are usually asking so close to eBay retail that there is no room for a profit.

I was wondering about the pants on the wall. I thought it was for decoration or to help you locate the pant isle at first. Then for the items, I guess you would clear out that one that sold and put the new item with SKU number for the bin if it fits. I'm still trying to sell my Patagonia wave jacket. It was sold for $250 last time, but the buyer didn't pay yet. Someone in Scotland was willing to pay upwards of $270 but backed out after finding a larger size. I was talking to them at like 3 am and doing measurements, but even from failure, I learned to expand worldwide. I keep the jacket like some rare found treasure. So I want a good price for it. I use the Rollo printer personally. I have a ton of 4 X 6 labels for it. I also used it to print an address label for a little envelope, then I cut it to size. I was writing items in a little notebook, then I just stopped doing it and let everything go wild. I am keeping a low COG. I do want to keep some of the things I find. I don't really know about Victoria Beard except that it is an expensive Nordstrom brand. Maybe have a damaged or give away pile on a website for people to repair themselves. Someone said I should have a wench and maybe levers to haul things upward, but I just did it by hand. Took me a long time, but it was done.

Wait, did you say that pile of clothes next to your computer are folded? 🤦🏻♀️ I love love your set up, your ingenuity, how organized you are. I am a reseller also but not on KZfaq. My husband had someone build me a big size room in our backyard to run my business. I have the husky shelves all around the walls. My desk and all other set ups. I also have a small 🛋 I can rest if need be. I wish you were near me, I would have loved to meet you. I know a lot but still love yo learn more, been doing this since 2008 mostly on eBay but recently on Poshmark. eBay screwed me over but I’m getting back on it soon. Seems it would be a good idea for you to hire someone, who's real good at repairing. That person has it done quickly and very good. Gives you time to buy more good stuff for reselling. Let each person attribute with his/her strengths to streamline the processes. You can only use your time once. Best use it, where there is the most profit to make of it.

Do you do all of your sourcing or do you have someone source for you? My biggest challenge is time, I work a full time job and resell part-time hoping to increase to full-time by the end of the year. Sourcing takes quite a bit of time so I have found online arbitrage helpful, but not as profitable. I have been following you on YT for a few months and appreciate all the knowledge you have.

I love how well you have all this put together. I admire you so much. A few quick questions. Do you organize the boxes in sizes or type (example all tshirts mixed sizes or boxes all small, another box med, box large)? Next do you sell on poshmark and Depop ? Im selling 406 things a day on one but havent gotten behind reselling used clothes on Ebay.
