Speaking about credibility, you know what makes Pat worth my time each new video? He isn't some guru who made his money recycling information. He ACTUALLY put in the work and built a successful company. This makes you different man, keep it up!

Below are tips to become a better salesman * Selling is the process of motivation * People buy what they want not what they need (if you want something bad enough it becomes a need) * If you get someone to want something bad enough they will find a reason to justify it * People want to either avoid pain or gain pleasure (can also be a combination of the two) * People have to associate buying your product with creating tremendous pleasure and the act of not buying to equaling tremendous pain * People will do more to avoid pain then ever to gain pleasure * What the meaning of something means to you determines how you will feel about the product * In selling we can't assume what someone thinks is pleasurable or painful (you have to find their beliefs and values) * If a person does not buy they associate more pain to buying then not buying * If a person buys they associate more pleasure with buying then not buying * Selling is the process of finding someones pain and stirring their pain up and then healing it with your product * People do things for emotional reasons and we justify it with logic * You have to find out the hurt in the prospect that they are not getting * An undisturbed prospect will not buy * Persuasion is the process of getting your customer to clearly associate their most desired feeling or states to your product or service * When you are selling someone find what they want and what hurts them * Most sales people sell what they love about the product not what the prospect loves * The quickest way to create more hurt is ask more question that will put them over the edge * In order for someone to buy they need a lot of want or hurt * People buy you first before they buy the product * The states we move toward are values (they are valued states) * When we hear about someones goal we develop a belief of why they have the goal * The reason someone doesn't have enough belief, is because they have no reference points * Make sure to align with the clients beliefs and not attack them * Selling is a transference of emotion

Great lesson taught!!! It's so strange that I just thought of this yesterday, when I first opened my pole studio in The Bahamas I dumped every emotion into why people should dance at my studio, now it's like I do less work and the word is around of what my studio is about! It's even changed the way the advertise. Valuetainment... Keep feeding us knowledge I appreciate these videos.

Overnight Productions how do you grow yourself in a job? After a while, you are stuck doing the same old thing day in and day out. And the idea of selling yourself to impress employers just sounds so bad. I get everyone is different, but I am going to guess most people want to go into business for themselves, but are stuck in the job rut as that is what the majority does. Again, this is an entrepreneurship channel haha so I had to comment :)

Just gotta say thanks for this video specifically Pat and Mario and whoever else!!! I applied this logic when applying for a loan, and it worked!!!! I got a personal loan with noo credit, I thought it was impossible. Logically: I gave the bank References, my Expenses, and my Resume.Emotionally: Wrote them a brief statement about who I am, what I stand for, and my goals & plans. Next thing you know, I now have the funds to get my CDL!!!! Going to finalize the details soon!!!! You released this video at the perfect time, thanks again!! Where's my "There you go!" Lol

Hi, I like your videos, does this sound like a good plan for starting a project? We have a product idea. 1. Create Design and then final CAD. 2. Buy a domain and put out product there. 3. Call around for sponsors to help with the prototype model in scale 1:1. 4. Find retailers which can produce components for our product. 5. find storage place/shipping company 6. Advertise, Expo etc. Does this look kinda how you do it?
