Hello Randy this is fantastic! One quick question, is there a way to send the text in the message formatted instead of plain text? Or a way to add carriage returns? The emails look bad as they are coming over with all the lines running together. Thanks in advance

If you don't mind I would like to ask you If I have a different functional mailbox in outlook and would like to use one of the email Id which is not the default email address in outlook to send the email through excel, is there a way to do so?

How will it work for Company based Emails (E.g I want to use my corporate email to send mail , 2nd - In our office we have lotus notes/ Verse like application so will it work or does it needs to be modified?

Your company email will use SMTP settings and protocols. So all you would need is the SMTP Port, server, email and password in order to send emails with this method in Excel. This training is for Excel VBA and has not been tested for other platforms such as Lotus Notes/ Verse

This might have been addressed in another video before; I know you have a video for sending SMS & Txt's and then another one for sending mass emails, but I was looking for one excel document to do both. There is an application on iOS device that is used to send 1 message to around 50+ people, some people do not have an email address and they only want to be sent a text and visa versa. Is there a way to have excel do this? Also, it would be nice that if person A only has email listed as a contact could also be changed to either stop the email and add just texting only or have both.

Is it possible to use dynamic file attachment here? I mean to send each email different attachment. For example send each one his own report.

For this specific video on sending emails without Outlook you would need a dynamic link to the attachment (if they were uploaded on a server) it could be done, certainly. Hi, I tried the excel for sending emails and had a problem and would appreciate if you resolve this issue, if you use more than one contact it takes the last name of the first contact and it sends the email to the next contacts with this last name and also the attachment number is increasing as it goes through the next contact for example the 4th contact receives 4 same attachment. Hi you may want to clear out your variables such as attachment and other variables by declaring them as nothing before moving onto the next email. I hope this helps. Hello Randy. I have trouble with Georgian text in my data sheet. When sent it changes Georgian letters with "???" question marks. Can you suggest something to improve that? At first it did correctly but now fails to send Georgian text correctly. I am using gmail SMTP macro. I can not even understand why does it happen.

HI Evgeny, thanks for your comment. One option is to check the font in VBA Editor in the options, and update it to perhaps something like Arial (Western). The Tool works all fine, But I tested it and found email are hitting recipient spam email box, how do we sort this??

Hi Fareed, its so difficult for me to know why an email hits spam. It may have something to do with the contents of the email or your IP address however it would not have to do with the method in which emails are being sent. You may want to try a free service such as mailerlite or Mailchimp. Thanks very much.

There is a problem when try sending email with other languages such as Arabic and Chinese. I got ???? instead of text. I think there should be kind of encoding or a way to use Charset

No it is not the font. I solved the problem just by adding this line of code : EmailMsg.BodyPart.Charset = "utf-8" that solved the problem. I have another questions. What if I have let's say 2000 customers in the list, how can I send to them all while gmail dosn't allow sending more than about 200 emails per day for normal user? and 100 email at once? In that case there should be a timer that allow sending 100 email and once 1st 100 email sent, move to the next 100 and so on.

Hi for sure you could add a counter to the application which sets a 'per-day limit' to 200 or try another application through gmail that is unlimited like www.gmass.co

Hello, maybe someone can help me... I am trying to automate this through gmail, but I get the error "message can't be send, server not available" The only time that it went to the mail, gmail blocked the access. Any help would be welcome. Thanks

this application is so great but the only problem is that it does not select the right first name and last name it just pick from the row 14 first and last name and send to all other contacts so that is the sad thing...and not only me complaining that....even inside the group no expert to help out

Hi sorry you are having issues. I did check this out very carefully (one other person had this issue) remember there are 4 different email macros, however you did not specify if its one or all of them. Also you can open the code, use F8 and follow each step by step to see what the issue is and why, on your machine its not cycling through the contacts. While I do my best to create applications that work well, they are designed so that you can customize them yourself and make them your own. This often requires advanced VBA knowledge.
