Many succulents will grow amazing clusters that can either be separated or left to multiply further.
There are benefits to separating clusters and propagating the offsets gained by the separation. Clusters need lots of energy to maintain growing and looking nice, especially when grown in pots.
By pulling clusters apart, you'll not only gain new plants, but also free up energy.
In this video i'll explain the pros and cons of separating succulent clusters, demonstrate how to do it with different types of succulents and plant them for further growth/ propagate them.

Thank you, for your sharing you dear knowledge, with years of experience and dedication behind it, too for free. 🙏 However, I just have one question If it's alright? I have a graptoveria lovely rose and it had a stem rot for some reason, had to do a stem cut lately so, I was wondering if it will put out roots during its dormancy?

Thank you- so glad you find the videos helpful ☺️ the Lovely Rose is a pretty hardy hybrid, it should be ok- if it’s not too cold (freezing) overnight it should send roots down eventually. If it is freezing, keep it warm until the danger of frost passes. Are you in Australia?

Another great helpful video. I find the agavoides the most tough to separate.

Yes, you're so right- agavoides can just grow super tight. I leave them to grow out as much as possible, but even then they're tricky 😅

Love all your information, but I would like to know if there r any special techniques to getting your succulents to go big and healthy in same pots with the one variety.

Thank you💚 I'll try and make a video on this as it's a very good question. But basically, you'll need to provide nutrients so the plant has the energy to grow. If the pot is small enough you can re-pot into the same pot by shaking off the old potting mix and replacing it with new every year. Otherwise you can fertilize- slow release fertilizer sprinkled on top or blood & bone. I'll try and put a video together in the next couple of weeks 🙂
