Thank you I just set the time on my brand new G-Shock 5522. I’m slowly getting used to it. I haven’t had a G-Shock in about 35 years. I had the very first model in 1983 followed by a bright yellow G-Shock. I just got the GA700UC - 5A in beige, Amazon just literally dropped it off. It’s now timed I live in NY just a matter of playing around with it. Thanks for posting. I learned so much you rock.

Thank you! I have set this watch before with no issues. However, this time around I can follow through until you hit the adjust for the last time in the process to set the time. When I do this, it never adjusts to the time that I have set? It's not even an hour off say for daylight savings, it's random!? ( the time hands of course ) I have followed your process multiple times and wondering if there may be an issue with the watch? Every step is smooth until you select adjust for the last time to set it? Just curious if I'm doing something stupid. Thanks,

You select the time zone ( Mexico city [MEX] or Chicago [CHI] ). GMT Differential (-6 ).

Thanks for your comment. Time Zone in Manila, Philippines GMT +8. You select the city code (+8). SIN → Singapore HKG →Hong Kong BJS →Beijing TPE →Taipei

What am I supposed to put down for city? I live in Bellevue, WA. What is the acronym for that? Do I use LAX? The Los Angeles airport would have the same time zone as my city? Totally frustrated in Bellevue.
