How to Set Up a Remote Speaker | Sennheiser G4 TWIN Wireless System

In this video I give you a demonstration how I transmit a wireless signal to a remote speaker. This is great for weddings or corporate events where you need to fill a room with sound but not over power the people eating or socializing while sitting by the dance floor.

I love the detail in setting this up. A little Velcro you can put the receivers on top and will conserve those cables for a long time. Thanks brotha....

Good research. its been a bother personally when doing my gigs/weddings. Question though, does it work for active speakers only? what of passive speakers?

too much of a hassle using a passive speaker for this application, better off using powered speakers.

Sweet set up my man, I'm doing this same as I'm over wrapping cables lol. I just received my G4 twin yesterday but I'm finding there is a nasty hiss coming out of my speaker when no audio is playing and I'm having a hell of a time trying to figure it why. Any ideas of what may be causing this by chance?

@@OwlStudio73 - yes, I simply had to adjust the squelch and the gain, now it’s perfect.

How long do batteries last?

That's a good question Joe. As of right now, I don't know the answer. I have't used them on a real gig yet. I don't plan on using batteries with them anyway. I am purchasing the power adapters so I don't have to worry about battery life.

No comparison. Uvive U3 is $200. This system is $1300.

How do you transmit a stereo signal? You are only taking audio from one side. It isn't even true mono.

Not true. I send a mono signal from my DJ software so L and R have the exact same information. To send a stereo signal, which is pointless, you would need 2 speakers and 2 sets of remote transmitters and receivers.

You're right. It did give me problems on 2 gigs. I haven't used it since. It may have been user error though. I haven't given up on it yet. Need to do more testing.
