Is it just me or are the instructions backwards at some point? I must say I am a bit confused on what the correct procedure is. Clockwise or counter-clockwise?!?

Clockwise to increase the preload / shorten the spring length / lowers the rear of the bike. (When you ride solo) Counterclockwise to decrease the preload / increase the spring length / raise the rear of the bike. (When you have passenger and gear)

Does the shock actually move with remote preload adjuster?

I have been trying to figure out if you turn the knob, do you still need to use the c spanner? I rode two-up and tried to make adjustments. Now my ride quality is all wonky.

Can't know that without knowing rider weight, sag, road conditions, bike, etc...
