Im glad you was able to figure it out. The blue video link can help you better if you end up needing to do it again. I tryed for hours befor I got them to work. But as soon as I did. I made a couple of videos. I prefer the cheep LEDs with remote now.

I'm glad this helped you. If thy ever get disconnected. It should be much easier to make them work. ( Also if you check you wifi on your phone. You may see a new wifi with numbers and letters. It may be labeled LED as well. If your wifi has this new signal. You can connect to the LED lights that way. It's much better and it doesn't need a hot spot. ) This is NOT on all lights. So if a new LED wifi did not show up. Don't worry about the part in ( ) above. It will most likely disconnect your lights.

Have you found the link to the other video. It may help more. To make them blink thy need to be plugged in and back out rapidly. IN 10 seconds. Plug them in and out 7 or more times.

See if you can get a friend or family to come by and use there phone as the wifi.

It takes a lot of trys. Both my videos in the LED lights took hours to get them to connect. Sometimes it takes 4 or 5 trys or some work first or second. Just keep at it. Maybe download the Geeni app and use my other video in the description

You should have. Unless you have a remote that works with it.

If you have no way of plugging them in. Cut a old phone charger cord. Rope LEDs are tuff. A charger cord can be used if you tape or soder the lights to the wires. Obviously do this when it is unplug for safety reasons. Please don't hurt yourself. The phone cord and power block to the cord should only alow 3 to 5 v to cone from the wall. It should be safe to work with. But there is always a level of danger when messing with wall plugs.

I hope you got them working. I would have replied sooner but it's a crazy week. If you need help. I can try my best to help.

Plugging them in and unplugging them 7 times is the only factory reset I know. If your LEDs don't have a button. But can be plugged in. Go get a cheep set of LEDs with the remote from Walmart. The remote MIGHT work for both. Might work. I dont know for sure.

I dont know why. But LED stripes only usen2.4 ghz.(well these do) Your computer or phone will have settings for the wifi hotspot. Rummage in the setting until you find network signal. Googling your computer or phone with how to change hotspot out put 5ghz to 2.4ghz ill make it 80% faster. I hope you fix your problem. If you need more help. Click in the Search bar above. Find . The phone connecting to the lights has to be RECEIVING wifi 2.4 ghz. Look up the video I suggested. Good luck.

Always make sure it is a 2.4 ghz the lights don't work on a 5 ghz. Also if you had them working before. Just remember how big if a pain it was the first time. It will be just as stressful this time. The main tricks are ( reset the lights by plugging them in and unplugging them 7 or more times in 10 seconds. Make sure your location is turned on just to make it easier. The phone has to be on wifi. Not network data. And I would use the email that belongs to the phone with the app;) I hope you get it figured out. There is another video I have for the LEDs its mostly like this one. But it has help others better than this one. Good luck

Best I can offer is what I originally did. I made a simple email for this as should u. Than reset all your passwords to something simple like a favorite team or show you watch.

After this make the video explain how 2 phones work. One must be your hot spot the other phone needs wifi on. Connecting the 2 phones. Get the recommended app.

If u use a router for a computer.and it doesn't work. You may have a 5 ghz system. The only options I have for that is. Google how to find the system settings for the router and look up the router as well. Most can change from 5ghz to 2.4ghz 2.4 is what the lights need👍. NOT 5ghz. Or I hear that moving the LEDs and router far enough apart. You might get a 2.4ghz with out any computer stuff.

Plug and unplug them 7 times in 10 seconds. Wait for the light to start to turn on. And unplug them. Do it 7 rimes

It is stupid. And a major inconvenience. But it's so Google assistant or Alexa can connect to your lights. I went into my Google app and linked it all. I have a video on. Adding LEDs to Google assistant. If u wanna check it out. But I agree it's a little sketchy

Use wifi on your phone to look for a wifi signal of just numbers and letters

There should be no lock on the wifi. Then try and pairing it. You should be able to use it this way. I hope you get it to work

This video can only help if you have 2.4ghz wifi signal. 5G. SIGNAL WILL NOT WORK AT ALL. This is everyones problem. On computer wifi. Go to settings. And make sure it's on 2.4 NOT 5. If you are using a phone. It's the same. Go to settings and make sure it's on 2.4. Turn on location and do as the app says. You have to agree to everything on the app. Or it will not work.

Some lights need to be plugged in and out 7 times rapidly. This will factory restore the lights to new.

Now follow the same instructions on the app. This can take many tries. The lights may not connect the first time.

In the comments is a link to a video for new wifi light owners. Try that video. This video is more for people who are looking for a refreshment on how to hook them up. The other video will help more

As for changing them all at the same time. I have a video on (adding LEDs to Google assistant. ) I hope it's as helpful as my other videos. The Google assistant is fun to figure out. I use it all the time🥳

Did you try the blue video link. It's better for new lights. If your lights do not have a button. Plug them In, and unplug the 7 times. From 3 to the 7th time plugging them in. It should blink. This blink means it's been reset to new. And you can try the other video

Everything about the wifi LEDs are nonsense. 🤪 I like the cheep 5$ ones. I'm ok with a extra remote setting around.

If you look for the blue video link in the comments or description it should help much better. Also you may need to reset your LED. Plug them in and out 7 times. Plug in about a half of a second then unplug. Do it 7 times and it will factory reset. Also set them up with the email that is on your phone producing the hotspot

After downloading the app you will just log in to the app and follow the video above. Make sure you have 2 phones. OR a phone and a computer. These lights are a pain.

Sorry it's been a few months. I did find a app that works. It took a lot of trying and getting a little mad. But if you are interested. A app called (Magic Home) (its mostly a LED BLUETOOTH app) Not WIFI. but I used wifi anyways to make sure. This app can flash with music, TV screen and costume colors. it was a painful experience to get my lights to work. I almost gave up. So if you try. I can not promise it will work easily or at all. The app for the lights will let you know if your on a 5 ghz. Your phone. Click hotspot find the settings for hotspot. Googling (how to change my "iPhone, android, Motorola so on. hotspot from 5ghz to a 2.4ghz) some with a computer. Keep in mind you will nee 2 phones or a phone and computer

If there is none. Plug and unplug the lights until they start blinking

They did make it super frustrating. I have a different video. I feel that you may have already seen it tho. If not find the link in blue. Make sure you are using 2 phones with GPS location on. This video was more for people who have already used mercury's LEDs and other wifi LEDs. My other video kinda explains it. But it can take many try's for some reason. Both videos I made took 2 hours to get the lights to work. It just doesn't work the first few times some reason.

@@wheelman_33_ thanks but having 2 phone is not going to change anything it can be done with one phone. my only issue is getting the lights to "reset" or "flash" so i could pair them with the app. don't need a second phone, i need to know how to get the lights to reset

@@chris_maejor if your lights do not have a button to push. And the reset sequence doesn't work. Some where is a number. On the lights. On the box. Not a phone number. But a ID number. Figure out what number this is and Google. "How to factory reset 000000000 LED for resale." This is how I found the reset process for the lights in my video

@@chris_maejor unless your lights say otherwise. These Brands of LED lights only work on a 2.4 ghz hotspot signal. Made only by a computer system, or router set too 2.4ghz. Most are 5ghz when hooked up. Older cell phones with hotspot. Use 2.4 ghz when activated. Also you have to expect all permission it ask for or it will not work.

@@chris_maejor very important. The phone with the app for the LEDs. Needs to have the email address associated with the hotspot. If the hotspot email address is the name for the phone .it is ok. Geeni app and others like it work with wifi. If you have a bluetooth LED it may need a different app. But the app in the videos require a hotspot for your phone to use. I hope you get them working. But Googling the reset is my best thought. Good luck

That is the most frustrating thing about these lights. On older modems there is a switch in back. With Mediacom you have to go to mediacom web site. Or call. I have a nother video in the description better explaining using 2 cell phones to hook them up

Let the lights start to turn on. As the light comes on quickly unplug them. Or just try doing it really fast.with out stopping after it has been plugged in 7 times it should have been reset to new

@@flareplayz5414 the light will stop after 9-30ish % sometimes. Try these tricks. Use 2 phones both with GPS turned on. Plug and unplug the lights a bunch for 10sec. As soon as the light turns on. Unplug it. You should be able to do this 7 or 8 times in 10sec. Hold both phones 1inch away from the box on the lights. Last. Try adding the app to both phones. It dont take much phone memory

And try yourself to reset the lights and add them to your phone. Befor deciding I suggest watching the video I sent you. The main thing to know about these lights. It will only work the way the video says. These LEDs are a pain. 😤

I would suggest Googling what ever device you are trying to use. Ask how to change 5ghz to 2.4ghz

You may need to plug in and unplug the lights. 3 times makes them blind 7 reset them. I would do it 7 times. Turn on location and maybe even your bluetooth

The video was my 2 1/2 hour try. Lol. Only use app in video, updates may have LED light option to connect.if so use that. Not the lightbulb option I used. Only works with 2.4ghz wifi.

I have a iphone6 and the connection is 2g and the light turns off before it gets done, and if it doesn’t turn off it says it didn’t work

Tips tho. Make sure you have 2 different devices. A phone using ONLY wifi from a computer. The computer router must be set to 2.4ghz you can get in the computer and find system settings for this. Just look for settings dealing with the hotspot. OR. Use 2 phones. One phone has wifi hotspot turned on. The 2ed phone only has wifi turned on. The phone with wifi on only is the phone you download the app to. This is the only way to set them up. My other video displays my disappointment. In needing more than just my phone.lol

@@toriafromyt7445 I can only think that you may have a 5ghz phone. Newer phones can't connect to them. If you have a newer phone. Ask a friend that has a older phone. Also you need to make sure the app was downloaded to a cheaper phone like a low priced Walmart phone.

Some computers will not work at first. On your phones hotspot there are options. 🤔should be at least. Lol I hope you figure it out. Maybe try my other LED video. It goes the same way.
