Cool looking setup , but honestly they will live a longer healthier life in a much taller enclosure . definitely more branches for them to climb as they will be found in the very top of your enclosure almost someways .

Would I be able to bother you for us expert advice I just picked us a tank just like that its 3 ft long and 3ft tall what lighting is needed for mountain horned lizards I dont know the size bulbs 😉

First of all, great setup and I'm planning on setting up my future vivarium almost identical to this. Ive been reading up on my MHL information as I plan on getting one, and have one question. Ive read that MHLs need a water bowl to soak in. I dont want to ruin the naturalness of the setup, so i was wondering if I can take the lizard out once in a while and put it in a shallow bowl to soak in. Thanks for the great video, setup, and info

12x12x18 is still too small. The absolute smallest should be the Exo terra 18x18x24. However you should probably go bigger than that. If you dont want to spent tons of money on a giant cage the screen reptariums are cheep if you are committed to lots of spraying to keep the humidity. So with that in mind you should get a pressure spray bottle. It holds lots of water. All of the things i talked about can be found at LLLReptiles website. Let me know if you have any more questions

New to all things lizards - have a mountain horned - does he/she need a misting system too? Will a waterfall be okay to soak in - since mine seems to like to hang out in the water. Help?

Is that enclosure big enough for an adult mountain horned dragon? I would like to go as tall as I can but I am a wheelchair user and have to be careful I don't go too tall where I can't reach my lizard if need be. If I should go taller (let's say 36") is there a stand that you all could recommend? Thanks! Great video.

Spot clean by removing feces whenever you see it, and clean glass about once a week. Otherwise, planted vivariums like this don't need to be completely cleaned out :)

do plants live using either plantation soil or eco-earth? As from my research they suggest to use abg mix as plants need nutrients.

Hey.. My mountain horned dragon is pretty small and she hasn't grown to much since I got her and she hasn't shed in 2 months.. She has UVB and feed and misted Dailey.. Should I be worried and she is active and seems healthy.

Actually horned lizards aren't that easy to care as some of their needs are in part unknown, and bearded dragons equipment is really expensive.

+jerry waters You need to change out standing water often, just like water for your dog or cat :) In a terrarium like the one in this video, you can set up a pump and offer running water that naturally filters itself keeping it fresh.

They do better with running water, as they often don't recognize standing water.

You can achieve water movement by leading an aquarium air pump into a bowl, or tubberware

I don't know her name but the girl in blond whenever she do a setup they are highly enjoyable I learned from the bearded dragon and leopard gecko setups may I ask is she pregnant?
