If you put the post code with space will search direct : Find Address -> Town -> type postcode LU6 2DN ( not LU62DN ) and you will find direct the address , after that you can put the house no.

errrrrrr hate to say it but when placing a postcode in it requires a space so B616RP is really B61 6RP ...... if you put in a space it will give the road straight away from this screen you can scroll down for other roads off this postcode , helpfull on industrial estates , or put in a number

Totmom 6250 pro it's easy to use and I've been running it for 3 years and not once has it got me lost taken me down a one way street and never landed me in a field.

I have a generic brand lorry sat nav from eBay and looks like it has the same software as yours. It’s done me well so far apart from 2 occasions where it missed out on low bridges.

Seems like a a good bit of kit for the money, thanks for sharing I hadn't heard of them. With regards to the new truck have you considered financing it? Im not normally one for lending when you can possibly buy outright, but if I was to buy a second hand truck I'd likely finance it over 3-4 years so that I had more cash available just in case of any major breakdowns etc.

I had one of them when I 1st passed my class 1 it OK for the money I upgraded to a tom tom 6250 better by miles

have a look at how luke c in a hgv plans his route he is a class 1 youtube trucker etc but he uses google earth to see the destination building so he familiarises himself with what to look for when approaching destination etc thats why i drove a 7.5t eg when i see a low bridge i go under it lol not renavigate round it 7.5t 12ft6 height will get under most low bridges but a 7.5t 13ft height you wont get under a few low bridges as the low bridge heights tend to be from between 12ft6 and 13ft a merc 7.5t dropside is about 8ft9 which gets under a 9ft low bridge which is handy lol
