Great video(s). Just bought one. Going to spend a month in Portugal. Is there a way to pre enter routes? Be nice to have them set up before I jump into my rental car and set off from the airport.

Is this legal to use in France with regard to Speed Camera detection. Does it give warning for exact locations of cameras, or does it just have a known data base not active speed detection.

Hi it’s speed cameras are on a database I’m not sure if it’s legal in France you’d have to check local laws I’ve only used it for HGV and large motorhomes around the UK so far

Thanks for this - I've just got mine, using it for the first time tomorrow. The main problem for me so far is that it does not display weight limits. I think the routes I've put in do avoid weight limits but i'd like to know where they are!

Hi it’s on the height, width setup page Just scroll to the bottom for max allowable weight Hope this helps, it is there but not the easiest menu to navigate around 👍

@@Oldguydosestuff thanks but I meant road weight limit restrictions - this is the main information I need and can't find a satnav or map of any kind that shows the roads I cannot go down!

@@Paul-dv4dr I see If you put in your vehicle weight and size it shouldn’t send you down any of those roads or low bridges, that’s the way the satnavs work Phillips do the Navigator Truckers Britain edition book for about £25 It gives you Height Width Weight restrictions of UK roads 👍😉

@@Oldguydosestuff that's fantastic, thanks! I've actually seen it and even had it down from the top shelf at a stop, I remember now. My phone had run out of juice and I needed to get home from Peterboro. But I didn't realise it had all that detail, thanks again.

I couldn’t, I’ve had no experience with them, I’ve always wired them in when I’ve fitted and had separate screen

Click on town then it asks for town or postcode So it’s a little difficult to find at first 😉👍

Brother I have a question I cannot connect this to my car as it needs a pin. Well that's crap. Also the sound is always on in the settings but it saying but it won't talk to me. I go into settings and put the sound up but when I come out it is always showing that little red circle with the line through it for no sound. It came without any card. But it has a built in map that works OK. The updated maps seems a scam its not clear how to do this. Any help mate

I had an issue connecting to my car as my car was connected to my phone and the whole satnav/ iPhone and car stereo went into meltdown So turned my phone Bluetooth off and all worked well My volume went off at on point too I think this was also a conflict with phone being connected instead of satnav speaker if I remember correctly

I only have experience of the OHREX and Garmin truck navs I do prefer the Garmin honestly as it’s a bit easier to use but at 4 times 😳 The price the OHREX gets me there just the same without incidents I’ll happily use either with confidence

It has a built in hands free phone Bluetooth But it’s not very good at all and interferes and conflicts with other functions in my car, like radio So I personally think you’d need to pay more for a more refined GPS system if you want these functions 🤷‍♂️

@@newfieledman9164 I did a trip in a Range Rover and it confused the hell out of the radio and Bluetooth systems to the point I had to turn Bluetooth off on the unit and stop and restart the car to reset the radio and cars hands free system I’ve not used the Bluetooth function since

Hello friend, i have the same gps and the system show an error in the startup, i contact the customer service and he says that i need a Amazon order number to provide me the files to reinstall the system (firmware) but i buy it on ebay, you don't have these files?

I’ve been more than happy with its ability and it’s 1/4 of the price of the main big name brands, plus it’s Uk and Europe maps loaded

You can set it up for weight length and height of vehicle I’ve used it with caravan and motorhome as well as normal car and wagons of all sizes 👍

I bought one and couldn't get up to date maps of North America. Went round and round with their tech support and after about a week of emails I bundled it up and shipped it back to Amazon for a full fast refund. Bought a Garmin and couldn't be happier.

The updates could be a lot easier to find Your right that’s a huge downside of this gps unit 😢
