Finally, even though I am using the HD60X, a tutorial that actually tells me how to set it up. There are so many videos dodging how to set everything up and just talk about how it works. All though I am not sure how to get my audio to work because I am using a laptop as a streaming PC that has 1 port and I do use a goxlr. It does say HDMI audio, so unsure.

yooo i just starting dual pc streaming using your method, its really helpful but i ran into a problem. the goxlr app crashes everything on my pc when i stream. it completely stops working randomly AND frequently. i have to task manager everything and reset the app :( did you ever run into this problem?

With the release of Elden ring I've been wanting to stream so bad using my gaming laptop for the game but stream using my desktop. This video helps so much! It will take some time to buy all these extra hardware goodies that I'll need to do it but still very informative!

For all those that own a HD60 Pro that goes directly into your motherboard, this process does not work with a laptop being your 2nd 'streaming' system, HD60Pro only works with other PC's. Learned this the hard way.

You can trust the legitimacy of these guys because libstream09 has a full fan shoveling tons of air through his room (regardless of how quiet it is it's still a fan that pushes air thru the air which will interfere with sound quality) yet he has perfect audio 😭🙌🏻

The audio portion of this could have been handled better. One, go xlr goes to streaming or gaming pc. Being that you can route audio from your gaming to your streaming and back using the line in and outs on the goxlr connected to your gaming rig. Two, what audio inputs do you choose from your streaming pc? Needs a bit more depth

So, I am trying to use this method of projecting my main display into my capture card over to my streaming PC, but it seems to not work, I watched the video back multiple times to see if I skipped something, but I don't think I did maybe it's because I'm using and HD60 S+? maybe you can elaborate on this for me I need more assistance.

To fix the monitor issue. After setting everything up. Go and make sure you hit windows+D then check monitor settings. If the last window you use or have active isn't the desktop the game etc will stay at those monitor settings. So before loading into your game windows+D then ur game.

And I thought the hardest part of a dual-pc setup would be buying the hardware... OMG e.e

so this means that your streaming pc doesnt need a monitor of its own? like its purpose is just take the load of streaming whats being shown in your gaming pc? if you have only 2 monitors would it be better to connect them both to your main gaming pc or connect one of them to your streaming pcs gpu port

The problem is connecting the elgato, to desktop to the gaming laptop (stream laptop) and getting sound from the desktop.

Everything is great until the last step at 6:45. I go to my streaming PC and pull up video capture device and there is no option for the Elgato HD 60. I have an HDMI from GPU to "IN" on the Elgato and the uspc from the Elgato into usb on the streaming pc. The only difference I have from your settings is I just have my main screen and the Elgato screen extended. What am I missing?

I know this is a year old but I want to throw out there if you buy the avermedia live gamer ultra capture card you can duplicate your monitor instead of extending and won't need obs running on your gaming pc. You helped me setup my mic though so thank you so much

**So let me simplify this and tell you why i have a minor problem** (i have a laptop) ... HDMI to Capcard - - Capcard to Laptop - - Mirror Image in NVidia.... Simple right? It works well for me and my stream looks beautiful. My problem is my main PC starts to act weird now that its reading a second display. When my laptop turns off my main screen flicks on and off. Certain things seem enlarged. And Alt-Tabbing out of games and A LOT of other stuff are now weird cause my GPU is trying to share 2 images of 1 thing. Essentially its pretty buggy but it DOES work. How do i fix all those problems?

Hey. Would you maybe know why on my laptop it finds the capture card but says no signal and to put the usb in a 3.0 port even though its connected in a 3.0 port? The wires work fine if i connect the PS4 to the laptop but not when i try connecting the PC to the laptop. (i have the software also downloaded on my PC)

Maybe I missed something, but the part where you hooked the dslr into a cam link, looks like you would need one capture card for the dslr, and another to stream your game footage. Is that correct? If so, maybe there is a capture card with multiple inputs.

How can I hear the audio through the gaming pc? If I select the capture card audio output all the audio go through the capture card and I can’t hear the main pc, if I select my headset as output the gaming pc audio is not transmitted to the streaming pc.

Hey Murray, Doesnt having OBS open on the gaming pc still put the same load on it as if it was a single pc set up? Doesn't that take away the benefit of a dual pc setup in the first place? Sincerely curious... trying to set up my first dual pc streaming.

I have a windows 10 32 bit PC that can't handle Minecraft Java Edition, and my Windows 7 Ultimate Laptop can since it has a GPU while my windows 10 doesn't. This is very helpful.

While setting this up it randomly detected my elgato as an second monitor so with obs on my streaming pc it shows that (elgato monitor thing) and not my main screen Can you please help how to fix that

A big advantage with this setup is that if a game you’re playing crashes your gaming PC it will not cut off the stream! On top of this if you have a UPS battery powering your modem then your stream will continue in the event of a power outage as long as the telecommunications exchange you’re connected to also does not lose power or has a backup generator! :)

Question: Would this type of setup theoretically work in a PC + Macbook Pro setup? With the PC being the dedicated streaming station, and the Macbook Pro being where I do my music production/DJing. Ive tried streaming directly off my Macbook using Streamlabs OBS while at the same time doing my music work but my laptop doesnt handle it well. Any thoughts would be much appreciated! I got it working last night. The audio was was finicky but did get it working with voicemeeter. I piped audio through my headphones + HDMI port. Use the VBAN (in voicemeeter) to network the microphone over to the streaming laptop.
