How to setup FREE SSL certificate on your AWS Lightsail instance

This video continues on my AWS lightsail series and demonstrates how you can secure your Lightsail instance with a completely free SSL certificate provided by Let's Encrypt!
Using the bncert tool we can configure our website in minutes in a low cost manner, letting you get on with the fun stuff for your website.

Oh, you're using bncert rather than let's encrypt. It seems easier, and quicker - I'm still waiting for the dns to propagate... This even is let's encrypt. And you don't have to renew. This is so much better than messing about with keys in the dns. It worked instantly, just took a moment to update it. You're a legend dude!

Hi Daniel, great Video, this worked a treat. However, for some reason when viewing on mobile it's not secure. I have installed the SSL CERT on 2 different sites I'm building and neither of them is secure on mobile. Please Help.

Hi Alex thanks for your feedback. As far as I know, the Let's Encrypt CA doesn't support non DNS / Domain addresses so you would need to use something like a self-signed certificate for that. Hope this helps :)

I have setup SSL certificate following this tutorial video, next I'm configuring websockets on my server. How to find path to SSL certificate ('local_cert') and key ('local_pk') for configuration in file "config/websockets.php"
