It is really good if you dont like turning cranks, like to make precision curves and angles, also threading. I rarely use cam with the lathe mostly a hybrid form of manual automatic (conversational), wizards, and MPG...Fun on a Bun!

why any not make step by step video how make linuxcnc bit zeroing touch plate system, not found anywere and this have important than all mach3 or lather setup. and how make dual Y motor setup, all what i lookig in forum not ewer has working. and how make dual Y axis automatic sguare zeroing system to X axis beam system.

Maszyna jest sterowana przez laptop IBM Thinkpad T43, który właśnie taki port LPT posiada. Na LinuxCNC śmiga bardzo ładnie

Jest możliwość dołożenia do tej płytki dwóch dodatkowych enkoderów do sterowania osi ''ręcznie'' ?

Nie jestem w stanie odpowiedzieć na to pytanie. Ta płytka ma tylko 5 wejść, więc wiązałoby się to pewnie z utratą co najmniej 2 wejść na jeden taki enkoder (nie miałem jeszcze okazji takiego użytkować, ale z tego co słyszałem to wymagają 2 lub 4 piny). Czyli dwie sztuki to byłoby już minimum 4. Nie wspominając, że z reguły trzeba inne rzeczy jeszcze podpiąć jak krańcówki czy estop. Wydaje mi się, że trudny temat aczkolwiek tak jak mówię - nie miałem z nimi styczności na ten moment.

Es sieht so aus, als würde die Maschine bei jedem Impuls eine gepulste Bewegung (keine Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit) ausführen, und so ist das Gewinde auf der Stange schlecht herausgekommen. Die Bewegung war nicht glatt, aber es war wie in Schritten, was offensichtlich schlecht für die Gewindebearbeitung ist. Gestern habe ich einen 200ppr Encoder montiert und jetzt funktioniert alles reibungslos. Ich werde nächste Woche ein Video dazu posten 😁

that thread is no good . A 1 ppt sensor works fine on mach3 . Whats the problem here with linux ?

I've got no idea what is the problem. I was trying some settings in the hal file I found on the internet but nothing worked for me with just index signal 1ppr phase A signal (index and phase A input connected together from the index sensor). I just bought a encoder and it seems that it will work now. Next sunday I will upload a video showing a working thread.
