This does not work on all Type-C input ports. These hubs are only compatible with Type-C Thunderbolt ports, and a lot of laptops only have the 3.1/3.2 Type-C ports.

key word here is hdmi adapter. many people buy the hdmi splitter then later realize that its only for duplicating displays

I have a Rog Strix with 2 Monitors one is a HP Monitor and a Specntre Monitor and my setup runs really well and smoothly and my laptop is on the far right and the monitors are left of my laptop 😊 so thats my setup

This will ONLY work if your type-C port is designated as a "display port" or is "thunderbolt." Otherwise the port won't communicate with the laptop's graphics card.

I purchased the 8 in one hub. I can connect my phone and it shows same pic on both screens( can't get it to show or slide multiple windows). But when I connect my laptop the screens stay asleep. I guess my laptop is not compatible? Your instructions are very precise and better than any other video I've found.

If anyone is wondering, if your computer has a USB port. And the monitor does as well, just by plugging those in it works

I've been looking for a product that does that for DAYS because I also only have one USB C port. (Razerblade 13 inch 2017 model) You're a life saver my dude.

Excellent explanation. For optimal desk ergonomics you do need to raise your monitors up a bit. Currently you are looking down at them and over time will cause neck/shoulder problems.
