May I ask, what is the heavy looking fabric that has two different colors on each side used for the body? And do you only put fray check on the cotton fabric…or the body fabric also? Very darling pattern. I’d love to try making one.

Thank you so much! The fabric is actually thrifted upholstery suede, I'm sorry but I do not know the brand as it was a fabric scrap.

Does felt work with this project?

Yes, though I would recommend working with a thicker felt to ensure the seams hold. The $1 craft felt you can get at hobby shops may tear out when stuffing.
