I have watched eVery technique you have shown on this video with close attention. Simply magnificent execution. I learned to sew 60 years ago. My mother taught me and she learned from her mother. These sewing techniques are so far superior that I am in awe of everything you do. Kudos for a job well done.

I'm a new beginner, and just today I messed up 2 zips, and 1 I messed up only ½. I have cut a the top part of a lined dress, with a zip, and hook & eye twice. I have pulled out the stitches 5-6 times. Then I found this video, and now I feel confident, that tomorrow everything is going to be fine. I almost forgot, I also broke 1 needle. It's not because I don't watch tutorial videos, it's because I only watch videos, and never really try it myself. Thanks for this wonderful opload, and a very neat finish. Perfect all the way!

Wow. I was about to go through hundreds of my saved videos to find a specific invisible zipper tutorial and this was randomly in my feed. Just subscribed. The best video I’ve seen. Now I’ll be an expert at installing professional looking zippers. Thanks 😊 What’s the plastic strip called? I need it ASAP. Oh and the best part is there’s no talking or rambling, just doing. This white strip is just a "PP strap" that is often used for packing work. This is in order not to slide while sewing (sewing gap). When the thickness of the fabric is different, the pressure of the presser foot and the feed dog are not stable. Putting this tape means adding the height. This is also useful for straight guide line. Thank you.

Excellent tutorial on how to insert a hidden zip. With regard to the zipper foot you use, is it for professional use only, or available/purchased for domestic sewing machines? Regards.

This presser foot is "PF-518L" made by SSM that is Japanese company. This is for industrial sewing machine. We do not know if this is for other countries's sewing machine brand (Ex Singer). We think it is difficult for you to purchase it,,, we only see they sell for Japan. Thank you😀

白いテープは梱包作業などによく使われるＰＰテープです。縫い代やファスナーなどの厚みがある場所では生地の段差が生まれます。そうすると押さえの圧力とミシン送り歯とのバランスが崩れてしまい綺麗に進みません。わざと厚みを持たせることにより押さえの圧を高めてバランスを取ると縫いが安定します。ありがとうございます！！

The white strip is a plastic strapping band and often used for packing work. This is in order not to slide while sewing (sewing gap). When the thickness of the fabric is different, the pressure of the presser foot and the feed dog are not stable. Putting this tape means adding the height. Without it, it will be difficult to stitch stably in areas where there are many overlapping pieces of fabric. This is also useful for straight guide line. Thank you!

Esta tira blanca es solo una "correa de PP". Esto es para no deslizarse durante la costura (espacio de costura). Cuando el grosor del tejido es diferente, la presión del prensatelas y el alimentador no son estables. Poner esta cinta significa agregar la altura, esto es muy útil. Gracias.

Это сделано для того, чтобы не скользить во время шитья (зазор между шитьем). Если толщина ткани разная, давление прижимной лапки и транспортера нестабильно. Наклеить эту ленту означает прибавить высоту, это очень полезно. Спасибо.
