Anyone else end up with a really tricky inset seam? Not sure if I did something wrong...

Yes, I had the same problem. In my case, I think it was because the seam allowance where the pockets were attached to the skirt back and front pieces was smaller than the seam allowance of the side seams. This was my first time sewing side seam pockets, though, so I'm not too sure.

@@Max-im8ie I think for me it was because I was treating the side seam and the pocket seam allowance like 2 separate seams! What I ended up doing was just not opening the pocket seam and sewing directly around it as if it were part of the side seam.
