I'm currently taking up acrylics as a new hobby for myself. As a broke student, it's cheaper for me to do my own set instead of going somewhere (lemme say my right hand is TRICKY, but we are making progress!). For beginners though, you should show them on medium length nails. It will show the shapes much better!

I’m so glad you’re taking the time to do this series. I watched the other two and needed to go back and find this one. I usually sculpt but I use tips for express nails as sculpting still takes me longer as a new tech.

Thanks so much for doing this video! I’ve watched a few shaping videos & couldn’t find any that talked about where to focus your filing when doing coffin or ballerina nails. I’ve been doing my own nails for 2 years now so watching you do this on yourself was also VERY helpful!
