Really important skill for every chainsaw owner. I met people who threw a chain away when it got dull… :) I am using a similar kit as the first one you show but from oregon. It also comes with a small gauge for the correct height of the depth gauge. Worked well for me so far, but need to get another one because I just got an additional saw with 3/8 1,1mm 🙋🏻♀️Anna

Ah great. I quite enjoy sharpening this one. Makes a real difference to the cut. I have an electric chain saw top that self sharpens but it's a completely different type of chain and not as robust as a traditional one.
